Not really bad luck for wbc... building a hidden, undefended nexus on the wings in XNC is suicidal. Way too likely to be scouted by a drop or, in this case, a banshee.

Against the 1/1/1 I have no idea how he'd expect a hidden nexus on this map to work in that location. The 9 oclock expo in directly on one of the two banshee paths. Poor decision for locating that.

Even if WBC had an extra 7 Zealots or whatever from not expanding I don't think it would've changed much. Puma still would've sieged outside his base.
