no they werent. they were always scheculed for 1730. if you checked teamliquid.net/iem its still there from yesterday when i checked. It has been a 40min delay so far.

Probably because the Starcraft finals were delayed because of LoL, just a guess.

Ah, alright thanks. My comment wasn't a dig at LoL either, I guess this events crowd isn't that lively for anything. I can say though that the dota 2 finals were a lot more fun for me to watch than the last set of LoL games.

what's possibly preventing SC2 from exploding as an esport and becoming widely accepted is people being quick to judge things they don't understand (i.e. the idea of esport, so many people think "you can't watch professional video games").

and yet many of us are treating LoL in the same way. so sad.

Ok I am actually really unbiased about these two games, but switching from the end of the Dota2 finals to the LoL finals made me feel like switching from a UFC title fight to a local bowling championship. I just cant see how MOBA fans wouldnt all go to Dota2 now instead of LoL. But the again Im just calling what I saw on the stream just now.

It's because most people on here know that Dota is amazing, know that the match between Ehome and Navi was great, and also know that LoL is terrible.

I hope that everyone switches over once Dota 2 is released. LoL was such a disgrace and butchering of Dota it hurts me inside.
