Please show some respect, especially to the two time GSL champion. He's still easily one of the best still in the scene. Yes, he did recently lose dreamhack and hsc3, but they were all to a volatile matchup of PvP.
and go to up-down matches
Nestea has fallen to the Up/Downs before, and not only has MVP done that, he fell all the way to Code A. So what? -_-;;
The reason he needs to be in up and down is he picked mvp. If nestea does so, he would be in the up and down now no doubt.

Yeah MC messed up picking MVP. It's a hard lesson he had to learn just like SCfou did who is now toiling in code a because of his bravado as well. Go for the easy pick to secure your Code S is what players should do. With a bo1 situation, it's not worth the risk.

MC picked MVP because he wanted to maximise his chances of getting top 2 in rank points for GSL so as to get invited to BlizzCon. The way it worked, he maximised the chances of MVP and NesTea playing their toughest opponents - himself and each other - early on, giving him more opportunity to overtake in rank points.
Of course, that's not how it worked out, but the strategy was intelligent.

Heh yeah I know why he did it, but it wasn't worth the risk. He's called suicide toss for a reason! Hopefully MC beats puma though! Go MC go!

Who cares about the stupid blizzcon. Of course, he was thinking about GSL, he definitely thought he can beat MVP, he is just too confident.

LOLs. SC had no bravado, he picked MVP specifically to make sure he didn't have to face him until the finals again. He just figured that he could beat everyone else picked in the group.

Agreed, it was high risk for a high reward. Unfortunately, plans don't always work out
I'm sure MC travelling also takes a toll on his practice schedule. Huk, MC all showing small signs of inconsistency which is usually a sign of lack of practice.

Nah, MC 2-0ed puma in the KOTH and puma lost to mana and whitera as well. I actually think MC will win pretty easily.
Well... people have been making the excuse for Puma that he's been sick and personally I don't know enough to comment, but if he does beat MC then I'd say the excuse is true.

It is just like not worth the risk to kill the pylon but he is so confident on his skills and decisions and he just goes for it. And in fact, that is what makes his games look great.
