What I find interesting in this thread.
People with Terran portraits/avatars on TL saying that PuMa's win was well deserved.
People with Zerg and Protoss portraits/avatars saying that the 1/1/1 is broken and he shouldn't have been able to win like that.

GL HF MC in up and downs. that is more important for MC's reputation at the moment.
i hate to say it but I do not root for EG PUMA anymore. He's not attractive and not engaging. And I'm a terran boy at heart.

i duno about anyone else, but watching a terran sit on one base and bring the majority of their scvs for one game-ending attack makes me sad

MC only lost two games to Code S Terrans, and he didn't actually get stomped. Stop giving him crap, MarineKing and MVP have both fell down to Code A once and MC still has a chance to retain Code S Status.

If you are wondering..neither are needed.
Because:
1. ZvP is in general in favour of zerg right now. TvP is in favour of terran.
2. Blink stalkers is not impossible to beat at all, and not as prevalent.
3. You can scout blink and counter it ez. 1/1/1 doesn't matter if you know its coming or not. you still lose, no matter how good you are (almost).
4. Even if protoss holds on, Terran just does it all over again (Game 1 in this very set).
Why the heck is a zerg even in this thread complaining about pvz? 1/1/1 is terrible right now, doesn't matter what goes on in pvz.

You can't... Puma had enough marines to not ever need to waste a PDD to fake aggression, since his marines could beat MC's stalkers straight up in a second. Plus, he could get tank cover to avoid such things. It was do or die, and then PDD comes and BAM! GG

There were many 3-0s and 3-1s in the tourney, but the losses were fought well, imo, and most of those games weren't one-sided. Good tourney - and remember, MC still gets a nice prize for 2nd place.

Ok I hate all this Puma bashing. He was a badass practice partner in BW, practicing with people like Flash. This guy went to NASL open brackets and the NASL finals and WON. He's pretty damn good.

Actually it started as Zerg whining that Terran and Protoss are unbeatable. In response Zerg got buffed and Terran got nerfed.
Now it's Protoss whining that Terran is unbeatable. The response will be Protoss buffs and Terran nerfs.
Terran was just incredibly broken at release but it takes a long time for the full power they have to be shown.
