If Socke had been paying attention and got the FF down in time Puma would have been put even further behind than he already was.

Well, I just meant it's the same concept. You're trying to traverse a ramp and can be easily stopped by a Protoss that reacts quickly enough, but if he doesn't, you're in a great position. I agree that it's more difficult to contain since the place you need to pay attention to is on the other side of the map.

Ideally, Socke would have cut off a couple of Puma's units and whittled him down a bit, while Puma takes damage from the stim. it's definitly not the same thing. when you are on the high ground, you have more vision and have more reaction time. But controlling from the down the ramp you have maybe less then 0.25 secends. It was more risky play by Socke than Puma

Well with that logic pretty much everything in starcraft is luck. You have to take risks sometimes, sometimes it works out, mostly it wont but if you never do it you will never be great and if you do it all the time you will always be really bad.

If you do this contain and you need to macro at home, you FF that ramp before you look away. It's 1 FF, but he was too greedy.

It's not a big deal. Stop throwing "outplayed" and "arrogant" around.

However, that was an excellent example of the fragility of toss at the highest level.
