Those cannons saved Mana imo. Not much mOOnGLaDe can do when he can't shoot the cannons and they're doing so much DPS every time he moves in to kill sentries and stalkers. Add forcefields and you've got mOOnGLaDe throwing himself against a brick wall.

Moonglade's aggressive strategy is good, but the execution was lacking

Also why no expand? Moonglade's been having map control since basically the beginning of the game.

Pros have been doing it for years in BW also

I find it funny that BW Terrans imported many of their BW strategies (drops all over, harrass, siege tank pushes) almost immediately to SC2 and tried to make them work. Protoss seem to just be rediscovering what they did for years in BW. Sure, they tried it every now and then, but it seemed they gave up pretty quickly and are now just trying them again.
