This great! We need more foreigner team leagues. I would like to see liquid though...
Will be watching!

Good luck on Season 6. Hmm this post is unnecessary TL and Korean teams aren't on the league because it's an online tournament. Scheduling matches will be hard and also you got to consider the latency issues. Anyways like it matter if you are watching or not.
The latency issues would be on the Korean side since the games will obviously played on the NA server, and I think the Korean are more than willing to play despite it and tear up the field doing so as in the NASL.

Season 5 was great, looking forward to this one 2!

Empire won imba 4-0 at RPL groups, 4-0 for 3rd place, 4-3 on IPL and imba lost qualification for EG Cup to aTn (we won them 3-1). It was before Brat_Ok joined them, but anyway learn the scene before writing.

Will the 2v2 still be the fourth match? Ideally, I'd like it as the third match so it will never be irrelevant.

Joke league with joke format. The best format for team league is obviously how it is in GSTL.
2v2? come on.

Glad to see this is back!
Great teams, great casters and great production.
Should be some good SC2, be interesting to see how the new comers do and if EGs training house is going to pay off.

I would have preferred to see TL and FXO-- mostly because the players on those teams are actually good at StarCraft 2. Last time coL made top 4 and SJ should have made top 4 but there was the whole fiasco regarding Fnatic. Obviously they deserve to be in it. But that aside, neither TL or FXO qualified or applied. And even then, TL only has one player who's currently doing well at SC2 much like FXO, unless of course you count FXOKorea.
Uh, Ret had an amazing run at the last MLG and just won the EU invite over very formidable names. Ret's on fire right now.
Ret and HuK makes two.

Looked over my news feed on proplay.ru and really confused why in my head they have been doing well, original post corrected, apologies to team Empire

Excited to see coL in 2v2's, always a fun time!

Why did they decide to keep 2v2? I remember watching EGMC last season and the 2v2 games were uh...lackluster
|
Reading this makes me sigh. Yes there could be improvements, but any league is better than no league. If your favorite team isn't in it, by all means don't watch, and let the rest of us be excited in peace. Why everyone wants to party poop is kind of sad.
1. TeamLiquid isn't here because of latency/server issues, this was addressed the last Masters Cup. 2. Some people like 2v2, some people don't. If you don't just don't watch it.

not Hate, but i want to see TL in this tournament

I think this was a consequence of not enough 2v2 competition, not really as a flaw of the format. I don't think EGMC alone will be enough to change that, but maybe someone else will follow.
