It's provided, not much raid gear is very useful these days because of special PVP only stats they introduced which help reduce damage, weapons and trinkets are generally an exception.
I think it helps that in an RTS game you'll have the slower build up to the action. Imagine beginning the starcraft game at the battle between two maxed out armies.

Nah he played Priest but he did an interview with some forum guy a few weeks back where he says: Wow sucks priest sucks it's dead there's no point trying anymore and that he's been playing SC2 instead

There's so much shit going on in such short amounts of time, how do they prioritize their info? ex: "i'm feared, cc the shaman, dispel x, attacking y, z on cd, using trinket" etc. Do they just know their team and the game well enough to not have to communicate so much? or do they just let the huds do most the talking ;p
Has a listen in on the team playing for the majority of the game.
There's a lot of teamwork and understanding of how your teammates play to make it work as efficiently as possible.

2v3 scenarios are possible, but only in scenarios where your opponent is missing major cooldown abilities (defensive spells, big instant heals, trinket etc) and you can get a fast kill to equalize things.
That sounds about as hectic as I imagined lol. Thanks. they speak fast too.

but let's not forget, SC2 requires quite some preparation to be able to follow ingame
what is stim? what are drops? what's a natural? etc
Keep in mind that when saying drop, its not that hard. Usually we see the dropship as they say it. Usually we see them taking the natural when they say it, its much easier to get into.
What's an SCV? Whats a mineral? What's a command center? What is supply?
Ofcourse its gonna be difficult for someone who never touched SC2 before to know that. But dont you agree its ten times easier to get involved in SC2 then following tons and tons of spell names on different cooldowns? In wow, everything happens at once, you can get some slack in SC2. Its just much easier to get into and follow.
In arena you have 6 different guys, with different names. In sc2 its just 1v1
Yeah, sc2 is MUCH more easy to follow/get into than WoW.

If you're a spectator who has never even heard of SC2, you are still able to watch and understand the action and game flow without needing to know this terminology.
For WoW, even knowing the jargon doesn't change the fact that from a spectator point of view, arenas are an unreadable mess.
