There may be other places we can legitimately add. For instance, the Protoss don't really have a great way to raid. To a point; they can kind of raid with Phoenixes with anti-gravs and they can cheese with void rays, but that's not really fun. But we can add in a legitimate Protoss raider that gives a player new strategies.


In other words we need a fucking unit that can one shot drones:D

I don't think it's too offensive to bring up IdrA. Speaking of foreign Zergs in recent major tournaments, IdrA was the highest placing foreign Zerg at MLG Anaheim.


You know things aren't working out well for someone when you start listing "highest placing X of all Y of the nationality Z in this one tournament" as an accomplishment but he actually wasn't even in top 10 of that tournament.

Let's not forget Idra gets dominated by Nani and Thorzain too, so...

Ret is at this very moment the best non-Korean Zerg. He would be that based on yesterday's games alone, even if he lost to Thorzain today.

The level at which he plays the game is so much higher than other foreign Zergs at this moment. Nobody ever dominated Nani and Thorzain like this since their rise to the top. Nobody.

Ret pretty much always does worse than IdrA except in Europe-only tourneys where he can avoid ZvZ


They went equally far at MLG Anaheim, and IdrA lost to Naniwa while ret lost to GanZi :o

That wouldn't really have changed anything, he would have had like 5 more seconds to prepare but he would have still lost both of his nexus. I do think that if Naniwa had pushed in straight away with his attack that he could have possible done some magic.

Phoenix don't kill overlords that quick lol. The overlords were basically already in Naniwa's base by the time the phoenix could have scouted it.
