His TvP is top notch, and his TvT is also quite good, don't count him out before he even gets there His first match is vs a Zerg (YugiOh) His second (if he makes it that far) is vs the winner of MKP and Hack.
Yep, this match here basically shows how well he prepared for his CodeA match in 3 days.
With the flight etc. he doesn't really has time left to practise much more...

Just a tip if any aussies who use lowerping for other games, their web browsing proxy seems to make this stream run perfectly (I've had huge issues with it over the last few days).
Gogo ret!

Any LQ stream? My interwebs can't handle own3d.tv Lowering the quality of the main stream didn't cut it for me.

Terran very, very, very, very, very, very rarely wins TvZ cross positions unless the first hellion-marine or bunker push does lethal damage. It's hard to move out before mutas are out, as you'll be vulnerable to the easy counterattacking path, and when mutas are out it's nearly impossible to move out, as the base layout means you have to turret up 3x more than on XelNaga for instance.

Mouse over window, click the "HD" and it'll turn LQ.

Anyone else's stream look weird?
EDIT: nvm, changed quality to SQ.

I would love to see a super aggressive attack vs this super fast Lair style by Ret, I feel like he knows how to defend but I want to see how he responds lol.

Hmm this doesn't look to good for Ret

My Reactor OCD has extended beyond just my games, when I see someone with uneven marine production on a reactor, I wanna fix it for them.... Something is wrong....

Depends... if Thorzain doesn't push this will play out similar to game one I think.

Thanks bro. Still the same issue though. My net speed is not a fan of own3d.tv

I can't read it seems. The LQ stream is really LQ though, so I think you're shit out of luck

Just to reinforce the fact that his playstyle is in no way safe. You're not meant to play 100% safe at top level anyway. I like that Ret is cutting so many corners and playing it a lot like Brood War. Ret gets a lot of edge with his ling micro and perfect map control he can afford to be skimpy in defense. Not saying that he will always win and defend everything, but it's still the right direction to pursue in your play.
Cutting corners is good in general, but he takes it to an extreme in a way that makes his games really one-sided typically. Either he gets away with his risky play and rides the huge advantage to an early win, or gets absolutely smashed by an early timing of some sort.
Like I said earlier, a Marine/Hellion timing of the sort that Boxer did against idra on TDA would've absolutely destroyed Ret, and that's not even all-in. It didn't come, so he ended up way ahead, but I still think this is a stupid way to play the game.

Thorzain's TvZ is so passive

Thorzain pushing too late. He should know better how to play against Ret.
