For next season you'd probably be better off perfecting a TvT cheese...

1 gate expo on xel naga is pretty god damn greedy, even against 2 rax openers you can just straight up lose

Just so you know, hatch first beats 4 gate. Loses to proxy 2gate/2rax though.

Jesus, this is a strategy game, where a strat beat almost everyone your opponent can do (in small/medium maps pvt), what a stupid build, freaking nerf it blizz.

False.
(1gate if possible) expand + stargate + robo, you've still got nice tech to hold whatever else could happen. Plus, the phoenixes give you enough map control to see when the push is coming and you can engage them in a place they don't want to engage. Slow them down, have them waste a PDD, it's honstly easy to hold.
I wish this would stop already. Remember when 2rax was unstoppable? Remember when 6gate was unstoppable? Remember when two base roach all-ins and baneling busts were unstoppable?

Take that wolf! LOL...Huk's control is really good. He held a 3 rax (all-in?) with 1 gate expo... Huk is really good...

LOL, so you're saying if you scout a 4gate you're going to stay on one base?
Hatch first is better vs a four gate than pool first. Hatch first dies to cannon rushes and is susceptible to early pressure.

That build is only scoutable when it's allready too late.
I wouldn't blame scouting as why he lost. He had gotten a good sense that this was likely to be the build incoming. He got his immortals and zealot count going early. His problem I think was that he mismanaged the main engagement. The early forced siege was brilliant if he properly reinforced behind it. He needed to have split some of that zel immie force so that the marine meatshield wasn't so meaty and the tanks could be taken down quickly so that the marines wouldn't do so hot against the zels. I Think.
BFD you would be appreciated in the strat forum then if it's so easy that it sniped off all the toss in the gsl up and downs.

And I think you need to be in Masters as well in order to be able to tryout... I remember someone saying that, but can't remember who.

We do see it all the time though. It's been used in every BO3 I think of since 1.3.3 and its pretty much the de facto build in the up and down matches.
