Hardcore BW fans and BW players are used to super high level play from Pro BW players (such as flash, jaedong, and many more) and this game probably won't satisfy them... (I'm actually reading posts on Korean BW / SC2 forum and all I see is ppl talking trash on SC2 lol after watching this show match) Man it's like that on these forums too. BW fans shit on SC2 regardless. You are naive if you think that good SC2 games would somehow turn all the BW to SC2. It wont and the vocal whiners will never change.

It's not like toss and terran where you can perform at a certain level if you have good mechanics. Yeah like Yellow never played Zerg in BW :>

You want something completely different to what this was. BW fans / players don't watch GSL and most never even heard about GSL even though they live in Korea... Nada and July were both famous BW players and they are both very good in Sc2 as well so that's why I'm saying it would've appealed to the BW fans

I think people exaggerate, but there IS merit to it. I didnt believe it either until I played KR server myself.. I feel confident against any US or EU GM (which I match often), but KR low-masters are just as hard, if not harder. And I've actually (hate to admit it) lost some games vs Platinum players on KR.. They are actually decent enough that you can't fuck around; like the ones I lost were when I tried doing things like droning too much expecting the opponent not to realize it and counter, or trying to do some funky cannon rush or so.. They dont fall for that shit there, even at lower levels, where I can mess around on the US server even at low masters level and still come away with a win. So yes, KR server is significantly harder.. but if you are high-masters or GM on US, you should at least get low masters in KR (assuming you got there with real skill, not just one cheese build) .. but the difference is even Gold players on KR are "GOOD".. You can't mess around vs them and expect an easy win (unless you are BoxeR, obviously)

Any foreign language that you are not familiar with sounds like it is spoken faster because your brain does not break it down to interpret it, it just lets it fly by. The makes the words sound way faster, and when hearing a language you are really familiar with, the words come slower.
