Heh, the talk about +10 to hellions remind me of using them in Bunker Wars: Choices with my friends. First we thought they'd suck, but when you upgrade them enough, they are disgustingly good.

Real quick question tho, how much supply was Hannibal leading there?
I think the moment MC attacked, he was down like 40 probes i think they said. Terran also had like 20 to 30 food worth of vikings. MCs army might not have been as bad off as we first thought if we were only counting useful army units
And thats disregarding the instant ghost feedback and unsieged tanks

You're saying yourself that Mech is terrible against Protoss, and Hannibal evidently went Mech. So, if someone does what is supposedly a terrible strategy, wouldn't it make sense that even if they get way ahead somehow, the strategy is bad enough that they lose for the exact reasons why the strategy is bad? Seems to make sense to me.
Going mech against mc makes sense as he has no fucking clue how to play vs it as shown in that game he just got lucky with 1 good counter attack and thats all it takes.

Hannibal lost because he built so many vikings. It's just not going to help him. especially since he has units that decimate stalker/collosus once the hellions kill all the zealots. He can afford to spread himself way thinner with mech. MC was also either great with the feedbacks or hannibal was terrible with his ghost control.
The blue flame hellions just kill the economy instantly. This type of mech should be great against protoss better executed.

Mechanic is so bad - __ - Disappointed in this post Jinro, you should know that MC just knew the weakness to Mech (its immobility) and went around the other side. If Hannibal had afew tanks covering his flank, he would of held it and won that game convincingly. Or rather; if it was a map that only had ONE path to attack, theres no way MC could of broke out of there. Everything has its strengths and weaknesses.. Mech is slow and immobile, but protoss has no chance breaking a mech contain like hannibal had, so MC had to go around or else lose when the slow push finally reached him.

Yeah, everything has its weaknesses and the mech weakness is big enough to make it not worth doing on 99% of maps, and if MC actually got to play people who meched regularly he would murder it so bad its not even funny.

Thats why you make cannons, because the only way to win with mech is to kill probes, sim city and cannons mean you kill none.
Hannibal SHOULD have won this game because of all the mistakes MC made, but didnt - and no he didnt play perfectly of course. There's no excuse for his 4th being an orbital, and losing all those ghosts was careless.
Still, if he had been going bio and was THIS far ahead, this come back would never happen.

That terran would get killed 1000x worse if he had gone with bio. Almost beating MC is testament to how good mech can be, imo.
