Stay positive, be happy and enjoy the event. Caster bashing and player bashing? Too much whining? Uh-oh!

I'm a little bit sad that Darkforce got eliminated 0-3. I don't think he showed his best play today.

If liquidpedia is right then nada is first because elfi lost his 3rd game

Elfi won versus Nada though, so if head to head counts the most he will be first.

Maybe it has been said before but what counts the most, head to head matches or the map diference?

I don't know, it doesn't say in the rules. There's the ways to determine a tie break, but not how to get ranking within a group.

I think you first go by sets, then by matches won, then by map difference. If that's correct, Nada's 5-3 counts over Elfi's 4-3, both because it's 5 sets vs 4, and because it's +2 vs +1. If it had been Nada 5-4 and Elfi 4-3 I still think Nada would be first.

If someone can find the rules that says otherwise, please link.

First page of this thread Head to head first, unless a 3way tie (duh)

That's for tie breakers, and I don't see it as a tie just because they're both 2-1 in sets since the match scores are different. Is it a tie?

He showed some really brilliant things... And sometimes threw them away and still one and... most of the time.. threw them away and last...

Really a sad story...

There's a war in TLPD right now, every time I refresh Nada's group is different. Right now Elfi is in first place position with a second place.

So Stephano, Sen and Nada in the same bracket, these are like the 3 best players remaining.
Only one will get to the semis oO

Jeez, stephano against sen, then Nada/jimpo (well, it might not be surprising to say Nada...), then maybe Kas... on the other side, morrow should be fine, dunno about his ZvZ though.

Stephano hwaiting !

MorroW hates ZvZ so he's been switching to Terran when he has to play a zerg.
Not sure if that's allowed in this tournament though.

He's actually stopped doing that lately. In hte last shoutcraft invitational he just played ZvZ against sheth. He did lose pretty bad though... so maybe he will do Terran lol

I'm looking forward to Stephano vs Sen. That's the only close match in RO16 methink.

Either way, RO8 should be like this:
Dimaga
Morrow
Brat_OK
MaNa
SjoW
Kas
Stephano OR Sen(looking forward to this )
NaDa

I like Pomf & Thud a lot too. I barely speak any French, but I love listening to them anyway. They get so excited in the battles. My wife compared it to listening to French soccer announcers.

Looking at the brackets, i'm gonna predict the following semi finals:

Dimaga vs Nada
Sjow vs Sen

Dimaga vs Nada is a coinflip for me, but Sen should make the finals i reckon.
