no unit requires any amount of micro, the thor is one of the most boring units in the game, and the pace of the game is so freaking slow

Leenock isn't necessarily in up/down. He could directly qualify for Code S if he wins Code A. Gogogogo Leenock!
Also, if you gave Tastosis whiteboards to rate players, Artosis would give a max of 3/10 for anyone that isn't NesTea or Alicia.
|
Leenock is totally gonna end up playing MKP in up down
|
Hey John, tell GOM to give Tastosis white boards to give ratings after games like the Korean announcers. I could totally see Tasteless flipping his board around after TheBestFou plays a game and there being a big penis drawn on it.

Leenock is good, but god damn it's crappy how hard his groups into code S have been relative to a lot of other inferior players.

He'll be in MKP group for sure.

Winner of Code A is automatically given a spot in Code S.
Winner of MLG Anaheim is automatically given a spot in Code S.
The bottom player in each Code S group goes to up/down matches. The top 7 (minus the winner) go to up/down matches from Code A.
The 15 Code S/A players in up/down are put into 3 groups of 5 players and do a round robin style match. The top 2 in the round robin advance to Code S while the bottom 3 go to Code A.

Leenock finally going to win a Code A?
I feel like Wolf was trying to criticize Leenock constantly... he has it stuck in his head that Leenock is supposed to be a bad player. I have no idea why, Leenock has lost to like 1 bad player ever. Min OTOH, has lost to TheBest.
Blamed every Leenock battle victory on mistakes by Yoda or random luck rather than good play by Leenock.
Wolf is really off tonight.
Yeah Min played really bad too. Personally i didnt think Yoda played that well vs Min, I knew that Leenock would punish him.

Anyone noticed that the schedule in the OP is wrong? I was expecting the teamleague today, but got GSL Code A.
Where can I find the correct schedule for GSL/GSTL?

The changes are in the OP. I'll quote them for you:
+ Show Spoiler [Up and down format change] +Up & Down Match Format Change - Code A Winner will automatically advance to Code S without going through Up & Down Match - MLG Winner will receive a GSL Code S seed for the following month. (Even if the winner is a Korean player, the seed will be provided). If the winner turns down the Code S seed or is already a Code S player then the runner-up will be given the seed. - Code S 4th Place Players (8) + Code A Top 7 = 15 players - Players will be divided into 3 groups of 5. - One group per day will be broadcasted. Each group’s 1st and 2nd Place will advance to Code S.

That doesn't work anymore
And Ravens were too gas costly. Thors+Hellions are actually equal in a realistic situation against Broodlords, since you have double upgrades going for mech but not usually for Air since the Zerg also has to worry about ground upgrades.
It's just that once you have Roaches and Infestors into the picture, you need some Tanks, so that your Thor/Hellion won't be enough, so you need to make other units that are more effective than Thors/Hellions against BLs.
2 Ghosts is about the same cost as Thors (75 minerals more considering that 1 Thor needs 2 more supply), but do 166% the dps as Thors, but with Snipe and their uses against infestors and other things, it's way more than 200%.

Terran transitions in general can be difficult which is why very late game play is something Terran players don't really like, particularly against Zerg. The BroodLord, Infestor, Corruptor combination is very strong and if you get the composition to stop it, they can transition so quickly afterwards if they have any sort of bank, even just sending a ton of zerglings afterwards can be effective. It just felt like Yoda was digging himself deeper and deeper into a hole that he couldn't climb out of, I feel like if you go mech, it should generally be followed by a strong attack to attempt to end the game otherwise you're in trouble.
