How does that even make sense. Tester didnt have to play Nestea and July beat Tester in their match the first time. Its just unfair for July. Tough Luck

Group B is just terrible. No elite players, and the only fan favorite is Cliiiide but without Tastosis to hype him up it's no fun. I am honestly more interested in seeing those intro girls than I am in watching the games.

Yeah, because July won the first game. July played 3 games, and he had to win two to advance. Tester played two, and had to win one game to advance.
the first game doesnt count for advancing, july didnt have to win 2 games. winning the first game just gave him a better shot to advance.

But it is their fault for not adapting the situation. A wild card series should be introduced once they know rain will be out.

Well, you can't really just advance any player to code S especially when rain said he'd drop code s right on the day of group selection.

Stop bashing Gom... Group A was the best group to be in... no1 goes to UP & DOWN... Code S and Code A are earned not something that is just given away to whoever is the hottest player in the scene outside Code A and S... it' Rain's fault nobody elses... Idra did a similar thing a few GSLs ago... Choya was banned and the same thing happened again...

I feel they should've done something instead of just giving a free win. It feels really stupid that you go even against someone and you lose because Rain left.

Changes are, both Nestea and Tester would of beaten Rain, and the result would of been the same. Tester advancing with a 1-1 against July.

They went 1-1 against each other. July won the arguably more important first game and still doesn't advance. IMO it's stupid to just leave Rain's spot empty. Give it to someone like DRG or TheSTC
tester won the arguably more important one
think about it

Well you could see it as a disadvantage for July seeing as how he had to play 3 games in a row which can be tiring... Also, Trickster only had to practice one match up.

In every other group, losing your first game puts you at a HUGE risk to drop down. That Rain wasn't in is the only reason Trickster came out okay.
Yes, which is why they should have changed the format of this group.
