I guess those quick roach builds in the first two games were explained by Min knowing exactly how Yoda plays TvZ. Too bad it didn't matter.

He did not defend vs Hellions like he knew what was coming.

He defended the first hellion attack just fine in the games. He fell apart on the later ones though.

Yeah, most players try to do as much damage in just one attack. They either end up losing them all or just switching from hellion to tank production.

This style is much more apm intensive for both players but min coulda just made more queens and spines

The skill level disparity in Code A is just so weird. Going from MMA to Yoda... It's just no comparison. It seems as if the qualifiers are harder than the actual tourney when sick players like DRG can't make it in, yet we see awful series like this one.

Alot of it probably has to do with consistancy, I mean, the majority of these players are most likely capable of going toe-to-toe with most Code S players on any given day, but lack the consistancy to keep it up..

That would explain why the likes of DRG have such a hard time qualifiying, since there are so many people trying to qualify, if you're not on top of your game on the day, somebody else will be and they will most likely beat you under such circumstances..

If your opponent is going for constant blue-flame, building more than one spine crawler at your bases will easily pay for itself. 3 is ideal. 1 is just a waste.

Or else keep some roaches at your entrances.

Those were some ugly games.

Zergs try and defend with as little as possible, and most terrans make 1 group of Hellions where 1 spine is enough. But if terran is making many Hellions, Zerg needs to adapt.

Min did not adapt, and its inexplicable as Yoda used the very same strat all 3 games. I think Min will be disappointed with his loss. And he should be. Great, did not Yoda play.

2 spines + burrow drones is mostly enough against mass blue flame. But it is really annoying to play against mass blue flames. One day you stop it super easy, the other day you lose 70 drones...

Well for this quarter of the bracket:

MVPDream 2 v oGsLuvdisc 1
LeenockFoU 2 v IMYoda 0

MVPDream 0 v LeenockFoU 2

Unless Dream is a secretly amazing player, Leenock looks too powerful compared to the remaining 3 in his quarter of the bracket.

I sure hope so! Leenock is so an amazing player he deserves to go to the up and down matches

Well with the way Leenock defended Rainbow's hellions(wall with spine, bane nest, 2x evo's and a wall of queen, I'm quite certain he can adapt and put down 3 spines and 2 evo's to defend yoda's hellions. Leenock's a smart guy and he should be able to adapt to Yoda's mass hellion build with ease.

I seriously don't get how Min could lose that hard when Yoda did the same build three times in a row. Min never stops surprising me with how bad he can get.

Excellent. Min was a broken shadow of his former self. I knew you that one day, you would replace him.
Yoda's persistence definitely paid off.

He reacted perfectly and definitly was ahead after Yoda's Hellions did no real damage. Then Min decided to attack and never take a third, for whatever reason and this lost, cause he left his Drones undefended from Hellions. He actually threw the game away, cause he came out of the early Game with a lead, i think.

Haha... good one. I wonder why he decided to go for such a heavy roach attack when he's quite good at expanding, and I think mech gets weaker the more you expand, because they lack mobility.

Vote for terrans unless they're awful or the opponent is good (Leenock). For TvT vote for Slayers....for Slayers vs Slayers TvT i don't know :\
