Yeah, but seriously, a few days ago, most people praising Huk thought he didn't deserve to be in Code S and was below every foreign toss. Now he goes crazy at Dreamhack and beats July, and he's suddenly a top toss in the world.
It's a three day tournament. People need to relax. Huk is a great player, but it's not really surprising he beat July. The guy has been training nonstop in Korea for the past year, and he's finally getting to show off his mechanics and skills. It also has to help MC is getting better in English, so those two can communicate better and share strategies.
I wouldn't even be surprised if he beat Bomber. Unlikely, since I think Bomber is a class above July, but Huk has talent. He has the training partners and coaches that can help him beat anyone in the world.

He lives in Canada was born in America, seems accurate enough to me.

You guys have to ask yourselves what the terms "Korean" and "Foreigner" actually mean.
Do they mean "born in korea" and "not born in korea"? Or do they mean "trains in korean prohouse" and "doesn't train in korean prohouse". I think the second is a more accurate definition of what the terms mean when people in the SC2 community use them.
People are just confused about the true meanings of the terms that we use.

And yes I'm assuming Moon will lose. Maybe that's not a fair assumption, but w/e.
Things like, suddenly have double the units? :D

SC2 fans are a joke ppl always cheer for the past winners no matter who they are, fans are joke mostly, indeed
It's different demographics. Huk wins: fans cheer Huk loses: time for anti-fans

If Moon beats Bomber then I think there should be an extended series in the finals because Huk did beat Moon in group play

MC definitely called TheWind after his loss, and MC's pick for the groups did end up being Bomber so...

Everybody knows that. Training environment is the most relevant thing, not where someone is born. Huk is indeed a Korean for all intents and purposes.

When other foreigners beat HuK, it was just foreigner vs foreigner, when he beats Koreans he is Korean. The Korean fanboys are just funny to read.
Ret and Haypro didn't really practice, Tyler has never won in SC2, TLO can't practice because of his injury.
What makes you korean is the practice, not the nationality or genes.

HuK is a Korean trained foreigner. SeleCT is a foreign trained Korean.
Anyone can be as good as Koreans, they just need to move to Korea and follow the Korean practice regime. Koreans dominating is not because of innate skill or higher IQ, it is because of the Asian mentality and their rigorous practice methods.
If ThorZain and Naniwa move to Korea, they'll improve by miles too.

If July did what Moon did to Naniwa it would of been much more difficult for Huk. Harass, and build up a massive economy, then harass non stop. If toss isn't moving out and attacking you, just sit there and get more bases, simples really. Spines and spores when you see dts. Hydras fighting off creep is just lol. July traded his army for 4 cannons at Huks third, really bad.
Huk played very solid, defending his bases with cannons against muta threat. July threw away a ton of mutas against stalkers, the engagement all protoss want. Expanded early and fast and often, moved out at the right time after melting July's army. GG.
