Haha this is so true. Suddenly he is "American/Canadian" :D I mean lets just be proud a foreigner got this far already,

What do you mean?He is a player that trained in korea, ergo he owes his success to its scene, lame is to consider that these players' success has anything to do with race, which seems to be your train of thought.Everyone considers SeleCt to be an american player, wouldn't it be very hypocritical to consider Huk a foreigner? It's a korean top 4.

Huk already guaranteed 8k+ USD.
Raking in some nice prize money. He should buy Jinro some dinner to cheer him up.
|
PvT is HuK's best MU so I wouldn't rule him out against Bomber at all. Obviously Bomber is a beast too though.
|
I have watched both MC and Huk stream... As much as i want to cheer for huk, realistically, bomber will win if even MC couldnt take him down. I mean MC is really, REALLY good compared to huk, even though huk is still sick good

SC2 fans are a joke No it was because HuK was in a huge slump those days. And people were frustrated because they expected more, now he is in blood shape and regained a lot of his fans which is understandable. You need to have respect for his play now, it is solid.

Go Huk! yeah think of how good NANIWA and THORZAIN will be when the train in korea!!!!!!!!! The problem is not train "in" Korea, it's train "like" Koreans. It's all about the dedication and the amount of effort you'll put in your training.
Not too sure if this is true. It can be more than just the time and effort that the Koreans put in that foreigners have to emulate. Keep in mind that HuK has enjoyed the technical discussions and deep gameplay insight from MC as well as other oGs team members. This alone would have improved his play by a lot.
A good analogy would be a SC2 ladder player who does not come on TL at all but practices 8 hours a day. Compare him to someone who reads all the guides and tips on TL forums and also practices 8 hours a day. Who will end up the better player? My guess is the latter. Learning proper technique requires a lot more than just hardwork.

SC2 fans are a joke The real joke - and a sad one it is indeed - are comments like yours.

Yes its true. Huk requested that he wanted to play TSL_alive because he wanted an easier opponent.
MC took bomber because he wanted a rematch (MC never scared!)
|
Day9 said at the end there that it would be HuK vs Moon.... has Moon/Bomber been played out already, or was it a misspeak?
|
wish they'd stop spacing the games out D: I don't want to be up till 4am again~

What if you have a coordinate system where back and forwards are specific (absolute) directions :O
You can afterall say advancing north/south/east/west..

Huk over july isn't the biggest upset in the world... now Huk over bomber would probably be the biggest upset I've seen in the past month especially in a bo5 regardless of how well Huk has been playing. I mean, bomber just took out MC. MC!!
