SC2 fans are a joke So true. It's funny how people laughed at me when I stated Huk to be the best foreign Toss. What are you kids talking about? The huk haters hated him, and continue to hate him.
Now that huk has won, the huk fans are emerging and the haters are just keeping it low until he loses again. Thats how all fans work, shit.

Ye 1h delays, too bad. But don't blame it on day9, its the DH schedule.

!@#!!@ im so pissed that i didnt choose Huk for the fantasy teamlleague....
Huk 1 point. July 5 pts

Nicely done Huk, 1 hour is too much omg! Guess we will have to spend it on arguing if Huk is korean or not
|
haters gonna hate people, but we all know deep down that HuK is good, top3 toss imo.
|
Huk is getting as close to be Korean as he can be, he even wants a korean girl friend!
|
Really nice to see Huk showing what he is capable of, huk is boss without a cause.
|
jesus that was awesome play by HuK. I only caught the end of game 2, anyone with balls big enough to be that aggresive against july is s fucking legend. I hope bomber falls to moon, then huk will take this :D

I hope HuK has some time to watch some of Bomber's replays. There's so many specific things he does that need preparing for.
And yes I'm assuming Moon will lose. Maybe that's not a fair assumption, but w/e.

The domination by HuK at dreamhack is a showing of how much the oGs/TL house has done for him. HuK is by far the TL ace and easily one of the best foreigner toss right now. HUK FIGHTING!

I prefer the logic of "what country and gaming culture do you train in" to the nonsensical idea that Korean ethnicity makes them better.
Of course I understand that HuK is also a foreigner and a Canadian, and an LR thread isn't really the place to argue with people who are going "woot Canada in the finals".
If this is ESPORTS, then it is in fact a subset of sports, which is nothing without a little harmless jingoism.

He's only a Korean now because it suits the fantasies of people desperately trying to prove, for some reason, that Koreans are untouchable pro gamer gods. Which they aren't, as we quite clearly saw.
So do you think that foreigners can compete with Koreans without moving to their country right now?

Huk played decent and solid while july allin`d with 10 muta doing close to no damage. Kinda sad that day9 has ability to hype up everything even when it is not that special or epic at all.

I'm confused at Day9's statement that it will be the first foreigner vs Korean final ever, last Dreamhack's final was MC vs White-Ra?

Huk is living and practicing in the EXACT same environment as OGS.MC. The only difference between Huk and MC is that Huk doesn't speak korean, and he wasn't born in korea.
He is still a result of the korean training method. yeah and? idra bailed on korea. tlo, ret, haypro bailed on korea. he deserves mad props for sticking it out in a tough enviroment - its improved his play immensely.
He deserve the win for sticking out in the tough environment. He did not get Code S easy, he deserve to win July, he is showing that he deserve the code S spot.

At least I get to see bomber own him in the finals (seriously no chance for huk vs bomber)..
Thanks for your positive and constructive input to this LR thread.
HuK beat MMA, took a game off Mvp when he was in a slump, and he can definitely beat Bomber.
