Sadly after all this time with so many tournament threads it still is not clear to many users on this site. There are several types of posts that are not acceptable in tournament threads. Any form of: Imbalance whine/Player bashing/Caster bashing/Stream complaining Will result in two day to a week long bans even for first offenses. Please stick to the games at hand and enjoy yourselves with a beautiful event such as this and the free service that comes with it.

Yep there is no doubt in that, Tournaments are getting better and better, If we compare this to season 1 of GSL the quality of games are just so much better, on top of that we can see numbers rising on streams, more people got hooked up by they friends. I hope the progress will continue like this during the rest of the year .

Let's see what streams they end up on, I guess, and the favourite in broadcasting will decide. Naniwa - Brat_OK is the you shall watch Not as emotionally invested in that matchup compared to the other two. Will watch the rest when there's VOD's. You said favourite in broadcasting. Since Day9 is casting Naniwa vs Brat_OK, it seems obvious. ![]() That may be, discounting the most important variable. ![]() oh, that's irrelevant now, you're watching whatever Day9 tells you to watch. don't worry, it's a good life. Usually a recipe of success indeed, but not this time around I'm afraid! And I think my "OH MY GOODNESS!" quota is about full aswell, got to save the remainder for MC vs. IdrA.

THEY MUST HAVE BEEN PLANNING IT FOR YEARS Yeah they came up with a nice way to do that while filming the moon landing somewhere out in the californian deserts ![]()

The probability of having no mirrors with 8 protoss was kinda small ! there was actually a very small chance of mirrors because all but 2 toss were #1 No there was actually a very big chance of mirrors because there were 5 #1 and 3 #2 Probabilistically 5 choose 0 * 3 choose 3 / (8 choose 3) = 1 / (8 choose 3) 3!*5!/8! = 1 / 56 < 2% of no mirrors in Round 1. EDIT: I may have made a mistake, could be 6 #1 and 2 #2 protoss. Then the probability is 1/28... it's still very rare though that you wouldn't have any mirrors. Yeah, this was the only possible draw with no mirrors It's actually 1/7 though Not 1/7... think about it this way. You set up the 1st seeds... for the 2 P #2'ers First one has 1/4 (2/8) chance of no mirror. If that happens, second one has 1/7 chance of no mirror. Both need to happen for there to be no mirrors. 1/4 * 1/7 = 1/28. EDIT: Forgot how the sheet draws might affect it. The probability is actually a bit higher, but still rare.
