Darkhand. Why? Well... GSL Spoiler + Show Spoiler + He's against the son of a beeatch that took out BoxeR. Darkhand if you're reading this, here's what you gotta do. Before the game clean you room or, preferably pay your little brother/sister/trained monkey to do it for you. Then get the lighting set just right. Then, an hour from now, blast eye of the tiger from your iPod and sit down at your computer. At this point your girlfriend, or alternatively your mom will give you a shoulder massage. You think Asd is getting a shoulder massage right now? No sir! That gives you an advantage. Excellent. Now, depending on who you have rubbing your shoulders right now I would advise a between game treat of either a grilled cheese sandwhich or... actually yeah just straight up, grilled cheese sandwhiches are delicious and if your opponent knows you have one and he doesn't he will rightfully feel inferior. Having one the mental battle, and with superiorly relaxed shoulders, I have every confidence that you can destroy this guy. Meanwhile, Jinro, and MKP FIGHTING!!!

The season lasts 91 days and has 50 players yet, 90% of the money is awarded to only 4 of the players on the very final day. I would very much prefer that the organizers embrace that it is a league and make both the regular and post seasons meaningful. I agree with this and posted already in the original NASL pricepool thread. The price pool is similar to Code S and there everyone gets >1k just for participating. NASL goes over 9 weeks and you may get nothing. Players participating should all get at least 500$. And the further distribution should be more flat as well. That would still leave ~25k for the winner, why do organizations think first place has to be insanely high? If it`s only for promotion issues, it`s very sad. (and overvalued I think)

If it`s only for promotion issues, it`s very sad. (and overvalued I think) I think your analogy of NASL and Code S is a little off. NASL is more like Code A and Code S put together. In pool play you earn the right to fight for the big money (finals) same as Code A (right to play in CodeS). The only difference is you do get a very modest reward for placing in the top of Code A and currently you get nothing for pool play in NASL. You can argue that Code A should have a bigger pool but that's a different discussion. On the flip side you can also argue that everyone who places first or second in their pool or first in their playoff pool gets a $1000 prize. Of course you have to play one final game to claim that prize and it might cost you $3k+ to do that. ![]()
