Was a nice final imho, even though it was 4-0, it showed off some better matches than previous ones I thought ... Only game I was disappointed was in the 4th, I had hoped that MMA had learned to build an engineering bay when doing that build ... | ||

I didn't watch the MKP/MMA series so watching Polt do what he did versus MMA was very surprising/refreshing. I dont play SC2, so take my opinion with a grain of salt because I dont know the full intricacies of the game, but from what I've seen, Slayers terrans have a similar style of early hellian play. It was very cool to see Polt find a way to combat that by showing a super aggressive terran attack play similar to JulyZerg's non-stop harass. I've gained a lot of respect for Polt after this tourney, especially after beating players like top 3 zerg Losira, top 5 protoss/terran sniper Alicia, and top 5 terran MMA to win the Super Tourney. This win was definitely legit and I hope the fans give him the credit he deserves. As for MMA, as much as people want to put him in the MVP/MKP/Bomber category, his play today clearly shows he's not quite polished enough. Even going back to the MLG games, his play was at times sloppy, but his pure skill carried him more times than not. Same with not making code S two seasons in a row. I have no doubt that MMA will eventually win a GSL tourney. He is a great player and son of boxer. This loss will only help him grow to become the player we all know he can be. btw, first post. hi guys! lol. | ||
