somehow protoss has to get aggressiv and apply pressure A lot of the aggressive options have had their effectiveness nerfed. But i expect something will emerge soon from the metagame. Liked what I saw some of the chinese protoss doing recently. I would like to see some stability from blizzard for a couple of months.

It's a common misconception that they can't cast when fungaled. However, they're stunned, so it's hard for them to cast anything when most of the stuff is out of range.
You sure? I'll have to look into it.

On the other hand it doesn't look like Socke has much of a chance vs. Morrow. Preview of dreamhack? Nada is a beast, im surprised you though that TT1 would win, nada has always played super super solid, aside from the super tournament he has made it to at least the round of 8 of every gsl. Oh I didn't for a second think TT1 would win. But he should have won that series for damn sure. G1 he had in the bag if it wasn't for that one terrible blunder and he won G2.
Either way, glad Nada won. Really looking forward to Nada and Morrow.

Not a balance comment, just not sure what's proper. Mid game pressure with a massive wall to protect against counters?
Socke went the right way, zealot archon ht and some stalker. If you can add a mothership, the mothership is really really useful with cloak and vortex.
But it's so freaking expensive lol

I have a bad feeling about NaDa to be honest. He has uni finals coming up and his vZ has never been that good.

Guess it is time to see if NaDa's TvZ is better than what he showed of his TvP, which was fairly shambolic.
Guess it is also time to see if Morrow can win clutch games. He has a tendency to be a perennial number two. And to see if Korea can be beaten.
As an ex-pat Norwegian, I guess I am going 'Go Sweden go'.

I laugh at the thought of Morrow and July flying halway across the earth to face off in a bo3 ZvZ. I don't think the loser would be particularly pleased.

Anyway : what's at stake with those play-offs? Staying in the NASL for the next season? Moving onto the finals? Can anyone enlighten me please? Winner goes to the 16 player final Lan. Losers are out of the NASL for this year. Everyone in the playoffs are safe for next year if they want to participate. Im pretty sure there is going to be more than one NASL per year, im pretty sure the next one will start in the fall at some point. I think when they announced the 3 tournament planned they said the 200,000 dollar tournament would be at the end of the year but i could be wrong. Either way i think there will be at least 2-3 NASL every year.

Immortal HT stalker works well. you can blink to avoid bane bombs or snipe ovies. Immortals are great for tanking baneling dmg, and storm > lings.
All that said, none of it really matters when ur behind 95 workers to 50.

I think you're wrong sir, spellcasters can use their spells AFAIK, Fungal just prevent state changes (Siege/Unsiege, Land/Unland, and so on...)
Tested with Unit Tester and...
Templar can cast storm while fungal'd. Tanks can NOT seige/unsiege while fungal'd.
