Reminds me of a BW vod I saw of... July I think it was? 12 base vs 2 and just went all sauron zerg.
I have great admiration for anyone who decides to kill some tanks with banelings :>

Nobody gives players like MMA, Nada or sC a chance? I mean sC nearly beat him like last month in the best TvZ ever...

(MMA and NaDa ... not so much.) And though I totally rooted for NesTea in the last semifinals, I think I'm going to start rooting against him this tournament. Haha, I don't really want a bonjwa for SC2; I think games are more exciting when you're not entirely sure of the outcome.

Well, Nestea has been the best player in the world since Open Season 2, even if he "only just" earned his second gold. Anyone can beat anyone else on any given day, but the only one to consistently take series off him in the past seven months has been MVP.

I believe he has been hyped immensely by Tastosis and therefore there is a wrong opinion that he should placed higher than players like MKP and Nada. Yes I am a MKP fan and yes it bothers me seeing people putting him in front of Bomber while it is far from truth :D By the way.. Amazing games today. Bomber is pretty much the best terran right now in Korea. No question about it. MKP has a great early game micro, but until he learns the aspects of late game (macro, mind game, map control...etc) he will always be the one who's lacking just that "something" in his game to reach the top. About the Nestea, I think you have to at least attempt to cheese him, or show him that you are going aggressive in the early game. (which is what Bomber did in second game) Nestea's metagame is just too good when you try something like when Bomber walled in with his two bases in the first game while getting his upgrades early (Thorzain build, so to speak). Nestea knew from the start that Bomber's timing push was not going to happen anytime soon, so he could drone up like crazy while spreading his creep almost half the map while keeping up with his own upgrades. Had Nestea thought he could get a timing push with roaches or Mutas or whatever combination against Bomber's strategy, it probably wouldn't have worked. Basically, Nestea countered Bomber's strategy perfectly. I bet when Bomber was preping for this game, he never saw anyone making 4-3 upgraded mass Ultras.

Using hindsight bias relating to the most recent wins to defend that he has been the best for the past 7 months when he failed to get through the first round like 3 times in a row is idiotic

So, basically, you "just" have to make sure he can't read you at all. Either that, or you can cheese him. Or you can try to take advantage of those times he tries to pull out cute strategies or builds (Cezanne punished him for this in Game 2 of his series vs. NesTea). Easier said than done, of course.

To be honest I haven't been very impressed with Bomber's play. He's a bit too passive I think. Doesn't harass much, and usually ends up engaging in 1 huge battle. Can't just sit back and max out against zerg, they have too much map control and expansion abilities. I'm much more inclined to sC's style when it comes to TvZ

Nestea on the other hand will probably win, or at least make it to the finals safely. Not many players with stellar vZ left on his side of the bracket.

Unfortunately, the SlayerS will all take each other out before they hit Nestea, they're on opposite sides of the bracket (except Alicia). I would say Ganzi has the best shot at him with that amazing TvZ, but it would take a miracle for him to get passed both MMA and Ryung, not to mention whoever it is in the semis. Nestea is really in a great spot in the bracket now.

He has seemed snipable in bo1's which don't matter shit. The last major tournament that mattered(I don't count the awful groupformat GSL uses in the last few seasons) he went to the finals.. because shockingly he didn't get eliminated by bo1's. He should be a favourite, the only one who might be better than him in this tournament is Nestea and I'm sure they could go toe to toe in the finals.

Sure, he didn't do so well in March and WC, but some people argue against the validity of WC as a true GSL 'series," and he also won May. For a tournament series that is just now approaching its one year anniversary, Nestea is up there with MKP as one of the most consistently achieving players, while MC and MVP seem to be slumping lately in what used to be their best match-ups.

Basically, Nestea countered Bomber's strategy perfectly. I bet when Bomber was preping for this game, he never saw anyone making 4-3 upgraded mass Ultras. But why? Bomber coming into the GSL had incredible records, and some high placings in non-GSL tournaments.... but so does Polt (actually Polt has more non-GSL championships). And if you exclude GSL results, Polt has an incredible record just like Bomber's... see what I'm getting at here? sC nearly beat NesTea, MVP did beat NesTea, Clide beat him, MKP almost beat him, Ensnare beat him. Bomber didn't. Not that all those players are better than Bomber, but you can't say Bomber is the number 1 Terran in Korea because he beat Mvp.... especially when that's about it when it comes to in-GSL results. The other competition in Code A wasn't equivalent to that of Code S. Skyhigh beat Flash, because he's amazing at TvT; but there is no way he is close to the level that Flash is. And regarding the other MU's, Polt has better results than he does... including winning the Code S wildcard (which was pretty much a mini Code A tournament). You just have to put Bomber in perspective of how he got to his insane record, and compare his results to that of other players.
