QXC said it well actually. You can drop against zerg with mutas, you just need to figure out where the mutas are and then drop not there. For example, if you're being harassed, drop - the mutas will take some time to get back.

In one of his latest dailies he was explaining how Terrans in bw were "forcing" their drops to work, even though Z had scourge.
