I really hate the moronic argument "WELL U DO BETTER!!!!111".
No, I do not have to be better than ButterflyEffect to point out that in GSL, the best Starcraft II tournament in the world, a player as bad (in comparison to every other progamer) as ButterflyEffect has no place here.

There's really no comparison in terms of how many ppl's life these 2 game affected.
p.s. Starcraft did not defined the RTS genre, Warcraft 2 or C&C did. The land marks of RTS are Age of Empires 1 and 2 and Starcraft +BW Of course Starcraft is a landmark of the genre, but it did not define it like Age of Empires/WC2/C&C did.
One of the big things SC brought to the RTS scene was 3 widely different races. Many RTS games features races that were fairly similar (or in some cases carbon copies with different unit names). SC had races with completely different mechanics.
At the time SC hit though, RTS games were already plenty popular.

AoE has no place in RTS history really. Dune is the father of RTS. Warcraft 2 is what makes RTS into a modern series when you have build order etc. Starcraft is what make RTS an e-sport.

p.s. Starcraft did not defined the RTS genre, Warcraft 2 or C&C did. Dune or Total Annihilation imo Yeah Dune define the RTS genre. Well Dune was first, but WC2/C&C/AOE/TA were all also really important for the genre. BW is of course the landmark.

Would an archon take the 360 damage it takes to kill an archon from a car accident?

If artosis says for people to put on their seatbelts, I think they don't do it on purpose
