You are entitled to your opinion, but that doesn't mean it will have any more weight. I'm not gonna argue about the word bonjwa, but MVP has consistently been winning throughout 2011 and has won a lot more tournaments and placed incredibly high far more often than MC or Nestea. Let the picture of MVP's trophies talk. ![[image loading]](http://p.twimg.com/Af-wvgGCIAAMsOX.jpg) I'm surprised there's a table strong enough to support all that The heck?! Where the heck did all those trophies come from?! I think those are the IM team's collective trophies It is. Nestea & MVP have 2 Code S trophies each and you can clearly see the open season trophy in the back. Who won that HUUUUGE glass cup? That's from the GSL world championship isn't it? It's the GSTL trophy, almost sure of it. ya you're right it is.

These people arguing over "bonjwa" really grind my gears.

I can see why people would throw around the B word when describing him. I meant S class pro gamers such as Bisu, Stork, JaeDong, Flash, Fantasy, etc. errr Fantasy isn't S class. He's very good though ;/
there is no definition of what constitutes a player being S class
however, if bisu is on the s class list then i dont see why fantasy cant be since fantasy has been better than bisu for at least a year, evidenced by winning a OSL and placing higher in OSL's than bisu

People talking about Xigua not playing well, or being "uninspiring" or "not brilliant", you have to also realize that you can play as well as your opponent lets you. I could be an amazing basketball player, NBA quality even, but if I play against Michael Jordan, he will make me look like an idiot. That doesn't mean I'm "terrible", it just means he is that much better.
Game 1: MVP didn't let Xigua do anything. He put him on the back foot the second that drone went in the base and found nothing. From that point on, Xigua was feeling the pressure of not know what is coming until the marine push killed him. No room for Xigua to show anything really.
Game 2: A much stronger start by Xigua and quite a good mid-game as well. The baneling bombs were well-placed and his overall strategy and decision making was very good. But MVP was just all over the place. Drop the 4th and pulls the army, then drops the main. He did this about 3-4 times in a row, until he decided to add on nukes. Two separate drops on opposing sides of the map and a nuke is really difficult to deal with, especially in a WCG final setting with his country on his shoulders. I'm not saying he is the second-coming of Zerg, but you can't really accurately assess the ability of a player by only seeing how he preforms against (I assume now I can say this) unarguably the best player in 2011.
All we know about Xigua is that he isn't on the same level of MVP (or close). But really, who is? Nestea vs MVP this Code S season looked just as one-sided.

Why would his country be embarrassed? That's the way it works when china is involved, ask them yourself. Well I'm glad we have our TL expert on foreign affairs educating everyone. I never claimed to be an expert, I simply have seen way too many times in both the wc3 and the DotA scene how touchy the chinese can get when their representatives lose in international events.
That's different. Chinese players are the Koreans of Dota. I don't know about WC3. Getting second place at wcg is a big deal.

Yes, of course, my point is that the whole point of the Blizzard Cup was to officially declare the best SC2 player of 2011. Problem is you can't really decide it that way, you have to look at the overall performances of the players themselves, and in that regard MVP reigns supreme without doubt.

Hard to say whether China or Korea is better at War3, but WCG War3 title is supposed to be China's for the most part. The first Korean to take a WCG took it last year (Remind), and Lyn took it again this year, so they're going to want revenge. (Yay! Means they'll probably hold another War3 tournament next two years in China during WCG.)

So is this over? I literally tuned in right when the broadcast came up, player was black for almost 45 min, tried refreshing a dozen times - no ad block. Saw the end of game 2, can't tell anything from the op.
Will skim the last 30 pages or so I guess..

On the other hand???? they all are ex BW progamers dude. It just happens MVP was the best BW player out of all of them AT THE TIME the switch occurred.. so yeah, B word is premature imho.

It's not to far-fetched to say that his unbelievable "run"/performance began with the win of GSL August.
