XiGua was known as Rabbit in warcraft 3, he was top8 at one of the WCGs if I'm not mistaken, F91 was a top BW player from China. KiLLeR was a BW player, he won the Brazilian SC2 tournament last year (over Fenix I think), recently qualified for Blizzcon and competed in IEM Gamescon. Elfi was a warcraft 3 player, he recently qualified for IEM Guangzhou I think. there aren't any invites to WCG so everyone has a chance to qualify.

I heard they weren't planning on WCG Qualifiers for Canada because no one step forth to organize the offline qualifier... I assume they aren't doing an online qualifier... Anyone know anything?

they have an organization, they just don't have any money.

It's a real shame Canada won't be sending anyone for SC2. We have such a strong player pool.  Only game we're sending players for is league of legends, correct?

that's not possible, unfortunately, it sounds like everything is a mess, we don't know who our organizer is and they would have to pay WCG some ridiculous amount of money for anyone to compete. We're only sending LoL because it's all being done by Riot.
