I usually say 'this could be the 6th and final game' when casting a series if it comes down to a player only being able to lose one game. If I accidentally worded it slightly off as 'this will be the 6th and final game' it is just a simple mistake. After seeing Hasuobs in the games before I honestly thought he would at least take it to game 7.
Apologies for misspeaking. Could you explain why plugging yourself for $$$ is more important than even risking what could be considered (by many of us) as a spoiler, whether it's real or not? Idiot? How do you even connect the plugging with the spoiling? It's not like "hmm either i risk spoiling it but advertise or do none of it". should stay out of these LR threads, fucking retarded rofl. Oh, name-calling, ok? Didn't know that was the adult thing to do. He had plenty of opportunity to plug himself AFTER the games were over but he knew viewers would drop off so he took a risk - that what he said could be construed as a spoiler, as it was by many of us - and decided to say something like "this could be the sixth and final game so please go follow me on youtube (or whatever plug he said, I forgot now)", and as you all have pointed out as he is human there is a chance he could slip and say this IS the final game, which he did, and then give the impression the last game was spoiled, whether it was or not. That's all I'm asking, why risk it? You had plenty of time to plug after.
I feel that's a problem that should be blamed at your brain (no offense) rather than Husky... Jumping to conclusions and trying to find any reason to shit on Husky. Seems to happen relatively often it seems.

The two are not related at all. Please stop reaching for something to bash Husky for :/
wow this post says it all!

Great games, great casting and superb stream today. Was watching LQ one due to slow internet connection though.

HasuObs gets 1500$ and Kas gets 3000$.

They do get more money. $3000 vs $1500.
Personally I found these games to be very boring. I was watching on a laptop on my bed and basically fell asleep. It would be nice if the OP was updated with the final results.

Great semifinal, highly entertaining games. I'm glad HasuObs managed to come back and win two games, as a 4 - 0 would have been undeserved

That's all I'm asking, why risk it? You had plenty of time to plug after. There's no malice or agenda behind Husky misspeaking. It was just a slip and nothing more, as we take great measures to hide the results from casters. I can understand being a little annoyed when Husky accidentally says "this is the last game" but there's no reason to tie in the absolutely ridiculous argument that he did it because he wanted to plug his YT.
Your comment proves that no matter what people do there will always be nonsensical haters. There is absolutely nothing wrong with Husky plugging his YouTube. In fact, I routinely tell Wheat, Husky, Day, etc to plug their stuff as much as they want, and remind them to do it. We're happy they cast the TSL and we're happy to give them an opportunity to promote themselves in front of so many viewers. It's not like you're missing out on anything in the < 60 seconds it takes for them to talk about stuff most people are interested in anyway.

I hope tommorrow's games are as awesome as today's!! Can't wait for them!!!

Thanks TSL for bringing me such intense games after such a disappointing GSL finals.
We can always count on TL to quench our SC thirst! :D

Why the hell do haters frown on self plug? That's how the WORLD operates. We are social beings and everything runs on networking.
Look at artists featuring each other in their songs, bands having opening groups, companies hiring based on networking, doing favors, etc. It's not just limited to SC2. We are social animals and just because you fail at social life, doesn't mean you should take it out on Husky.
It wasn't even inappropriate. Why SHOULDN'T they promote themselves for the hard 'free' work they do? You are a human too. You want credit for the lame shit you do in life. Get over it.
