Hasu scouted the first gas, but just missed the second. At no point did he think it was a no-gas FE.
Quite frankly, in close air meta with a bunker at the ramp denying scouting you should be getting a robo. Hasu did so every other game. Tried to cut a corner to match Kas' previous play style and got burned. Tough break.

For me it is not the question of "He could have spoiled the results with that statement..." It is just an uncomfortable feeling you are going to have if someone mentions anything about the future^^ So the reaction to Husky's mistake is natural I would say.

My guess is that since Husky was trying to get out of his old apartment on time so he might have taken a look at the replays ahead of time just in terms of length/number of games to see if he would be done in time. Sucks he spoiled it, can't wait for tomorrow!

Well I wouldn't say that Hasuobs has better micro than Naniwa. Did you see the semifinals?
Naniwa could just 4 gate all the time and there was nothing that Hasuobs could do, even if he also went 4 gate last game he knew that he had lost due to the 4 gate. Naniwas micro is better.

They send the replays like 5 minutes before the games are played and we are doing a sound check and run through anyway during that time. There is also fake replays in the pack to fill in any gaps.
I usually say 'this could be the 6th and final game' when casting a series if it comes down to a player only being able to lose one game. If I accidentally worded it slightly off as 'this will be the 6th and final game' it is just a simple mistake. After seeing Hasuobs in the games before I honestly thought he would at least take it to game 7.

if i remember correctly hasuobs was quite a bid ahead of naniwa after the first 4gate vs 4gate situation in the last game and only lost because he went for colossi afterwards

A caster made a similar mistake in the IGL yesterday and they have fake replays too ....people raged and it turned out it wasnt the last game. Sometimes you have a brainfart moment and say the wrong thing unluckily for huskey it turned out to be true.

Yeah plus one. That's was actually my point. That whole series became a boring 4gate is solely because of HasuObs poor (in relative to Naniwa ofc ) play.
