Double Elimination Bracket
Best 2 out of 3, Grand Finals Best 3 out of 5
Race is chosen BEFORE the Event starts and you play the whole event with that race.

Other Rules:
Players may not have a stream of the game in the background.
Any sign of cheating may result in a Forfeit of the Game or disqualification from the Event.
Bracket will be seeded based on results of previous GameClucks event in March 2011. Players not at that event will be seeded last.
We will then start a Point System attached to these events, that will assign points based on Win/Loss across multiple events to even out the seeding and give it some consistency.
Map Selection: A default/starter map will be established for each bracket round and used for the 1st Match in a set.
Loser of a match pick the next map from the available Map Pool.
No Map may be played more than once in the same Set.
Players who are disqualified prior to the start of a Game will not be allowed to play in the Game. Players who are disqualified during a Game must quit out of the Game.
No Spectators or Observers allowed in game.
PEOPLE ARE ENCOURAGED to bring their own Computers. We will have room to set up about 10 PCs for people, in addition to our own 20 Comps (10 of which will be 100% tournament dedicated and the other 10 there for as needed use)

there's another thread for the tournament already. idk which one we want to use but MLG updated their map pool cause alot of those maps you have aren't played or are different versions. the new map pool is:

Teamliquid is on Korean Time. It's correct. But it's not on the tournament tracker. Was it ever on there?

What about spectating, is there room for people to watch, do they have to pay $$ to watch (excluding the online stream...)?
How is sub-seeding worked for all the people that haven't been able to come before, beyond below everyone else who has already shown up before (I'm assuming I won't be the only one coming for the first time...) Is it by ladder rank or is it random?
Does the entry fee have to be paid in cash or do you take cards?
And then about Gameplay/Maps:
Can we add a 1-map veto for each player; I see loser picks, but a lot of tourneys have loser picks, winner is allowed to veto 1 map.

we charge a $5 venue fee for spectators and yes, we accept cash or credit card, but prefer cash. its best if you bring exactly $15 because almost everyone brings a $20 and we quickly run out of 5's.
I think loser chooses is plenty fair without needing a veto. after all the person has already lost the first match so why punish them further by vetoing their first map choice?
For sub-seeding I prefer to go by online ladder ranks, but chris may opt to go random. We'll find out for sure on saturday.

Sorry to be so late in responding.
Tournament Tracker - No I failed at getting it up there. Too many places to post every diff tournament I do... would be nice to have one site that everything in the universe is posted on hahah
Spectating - Usually room, though you will prob be standing.
Seeding - You sign in based on your league. Top 8 people from last event are seeded 1-8, rest are seeded based on league. (in past I took last event and seeded those people first an balance randomly at the end, we changed this for last event though)
Map Striking - We have not done that in the past. I will look at that for future events though (I hate changing rules at last minute or even a few days before an event)
NOS will not be on site physically  I got that word late last night.
HOWEVER they did drop off a lot of NOS to hand out so everyone should get at least 1 can for free. They then authorized me to sell NOS for $1.00 (instead of $2.00) after the free handouts are gone.

For other events we usually charge the $5 Venue portion for spectating but we have not in the past on SC2, so we will keep it as free to Spect.
