Besides, no Foreiger in Code-S would be pretty much a joke if you look at how well the Foreigners perform in stuff like Stars Wars, TSL, NASL etc. I actually think that the GSL looses a bit of credibility and prestige with only one Foreigner in Code-S when the Koreans get ripped apart in TSL and stuff. They should really work towards inviting really good Foreigners into the GSL more... Statement like this make me wish the Korean players not participating any more cross server online tournament. Yes Koreans were ripped in TSL but i will bet the European players will get ripped if they go to Korea consider the pool of korean pros competing in Korea. I guess Idra made the BEST decision ever by not competing in foreign online tournaments when he was in Korea. Koreans are getting ripped in China too.. GSL players are slightly better but not much better than foreign ones. Unfortunately, I doubt GSL players take foreign online events very seriously. GSL is still the main priority for every player.

GSL players are slightly better but not much better than foreign ones. Except for the final and semi-final, that Chinese tournament is still held online. Live location, in a booth, on a stage in front of a live audience >>>>> online tournaments. EU live events such as IEM, Dreamhack, Copenhagen has been won by a Korean anyway. And if a player is in 2 tournaments where one of them has much more local prestige and much more prize money, I doubt they are going to expose any of their new builds. We have seen so much more specially-made builds in the GSL from the Koreans but not really anywhere else.

Now all the haters can STFU and stop saying he's not "Code S" material. on my very personal opinion he isn't, idk what happened to MMA, maybe he was over-hyped or maybe huk can control his nerves better at stage, either way Huk being code-s material or not isnt determined by the up and down matches, nor by ppl on a forum saying he is/isnt. the actual test is lets see if he makes it out of ro32, THEN can he prove us wrong (which i hope even if i dont like him as much, hes still a foreigner vs koreans, so ill cheer)

Online results are meaningless...the only legit online result so far was thorzain vs mc because its the only one that was played on equal terms. All other TSL and NASL result is pretty much void as far as Im concerned. And GSL has only encouraged foreigners by giving them Invites to code A, higher than deserving seeds in the super tourney etc. Its not the GSLs fault that foreigners cant win in the tourney. Koreans have won every euro lan they attended so far why cant a foreigner win in the GSL? Clearly they dont feel its worth it to even try anymore

Going to Korea is a big commitment it's more than simply go to Korea in the morning play GSL in the afternoon fly back in the evening, and the Foreigners are only beating the Koreans in online tornaments because of the lag on their side >.>
