Cheesing in a Bo7 is smart to keep your opponent on guard and off his game. If you lose, it's not because of cheese. It's because you were bad. Hasu could not defend a 4-gate and was punished. He did not scout carefully enough and see the proxy gate and was punished for it. There's nothing else to say.

And these two players are definetly not bad... We haven't? Could have SWORN there was a PvP between Ace and MC recently... Hmm. And I agree, these 2 aren't bad, but they're no MC or Ace ![]()

Did you not see Naniwa at MLG? Have you watched any of his games in the NASL or Road to Korea tournament? Naniwa is SOLID. He's a fantastic player, and he's just playing the game here. This is how PvP goes! You wouldn't watch a BW ZvZ and complain, would you? Of course not, because the game dictates how the matchups are played. 4Gate is standard in PvP. Yes, it's not always exciting. No, it's not the players responsibiliy to entertain you, they want to win.

In the Shakuras game he should have made a sentry first, not a stalker (if you noticed, Day9 even expected and called a sentry first before realizing it was a stalker). If that first stalker had been a sentry, then Hasu could have easily forcefielded the gap at the end of the cannons so Naniwa couldn't have run by with his initial push. In the second game, HasuObs was lazy and didn't properly scout. He then over reacted to a single gateway proxy because he still didn't scout it properly and placed his cannon poorly. You simply can't scout/react that poorly in PvP and expect to win. Naniwa has been playing abusively/cheesily, but he's doing it because HasuObs is letting him. Completly true. I wonder why hasu plays so shaky. The first game was decent though....

People who are whining probably dont play P themselves. Whining about nani 4-gating is just retarded btw. They should whine about hasu NOT 4 gating...

Wouldn't a "broken" matchup imply the inability for consistency to show due to the win not being determined by skill? Agree. All exaggerations from people. Works out well for Tyler to speak of PvP as a coinflip matchup when he keeps losing in it.

And to those who say Haus at least try something beside 4 gate. He has to since he know he will not beat Naniwa in a strait up 4 gate game. If something work, you use it. This is not a sport were you get points for style, you win and how you do it does not matter!
