the term yellow fever dislodges the human aspect of attraction and substituting it for racial expectations. Within the north american continent, the "stereotype" of Asian women living in Asia (and in a way, Asian women living in north America) is one of sbservience to the masculine norm. Yellow fever being a term used to define someone who likes the preconcieved notion of what an "Asian" and in Huk's case an "Asian woman" suggests a preference to the stereotype and not to the individual. Hence, it is seeing Asian women as subservient and being turned on by that subservience. It's no different from saying "I don't like blonde white girls because they're dumb" or "I like black women because they have a big butt" it's not that huk is not allowed to like girls who are Asian, it's about the reason why he is attracted or unattracted to those girls.

I feel a bit sorry for doa for trying to make jokes hoping moletrap to jump on the bandwagon but he doesn't get response back at all. how many times haven't doa said "haven't you seen...." "haven't you heard of..." etc. individually they are good casters, together they just don't have the chemistry going on and it gets boring quite fast. Tastosis on the the hand is 50% the reason I subscribe to GSL. It's like tuning into a good late night talk show with a funny talk show host and have the best starcraft 2 games at the same time. EDIT: WoW, what a lousy draw for Huk. I like Doa/Moletrap, they are both very good casters. I remember watching a lot of games Moletrap casted from Broodwar, it was great. If you go back and watch one of the first Doatrap games, you will probably notice how they have improved since then. Much less interruptions, lots of interesting tidbits from Moletrap, etc. Tastosis has know each other for more than five years, so that Doatrap aren't working as well together isn't too surprising. If GomTV give Doatrap a season or two more, I believe they will prove to be a good choice for the future.

Obviously Bomber will have a bright future and should do rather well in his up and down matches. + Show Spoiler + Kind of sad IMMVP wasn't able to secure a Code A victory because he would have the trifecta of GSL championships! Also I like the casters. I think they are starting to come out of their shell a bit. I kind of laugh at Moletrap when he goes "WOOOOOOOOAAAH" constantly, and their rants about food is typically pretty funny. It's not nearly as good as when Tasteless tells us stories of how he obtains his ladder points though!

I think it all came down to game 2 tbh. MVP's macro was totally awful. Not to take anything from Bomber's deserved victory, but wow... Very disappointing play overall by MVP. Even his defense against pushes involving SCVs was subpar.

It doesn't seem like it would be that hard to just average them and give a result. This would be so much better than the Yes/No/If you have time system.

What sense does it make to vote after sets have started really :o Anyhow, I preferred the words over stars on game ratings.

Also lorkac, as for racism being racism, I would probably agree in most cases. I don't like affirmative action, that sort of thing. But it's not necessarily racism to be attracted to members of a certain race in many cases - HuK just may like small boobs, petite woman, straight black hair, certain facial features, et cetera. Now when people only will date members of their own race because 'other races are nasty' that may be a bit racist and we do see a lot of that (especially with asians, although I'm sure other races do it too). So I'd say racism can exist in sexual preference, but often times it's either a cultural prejudice (which isn't better) or particular physical features, maybe even personality features, that exist but are not exclusive to members of a certain race. Like I like big boobs, white skin, and big eyes on a girl - it doesn't mean I hate asians and blacks, they just usually lack the features I'm attracted to. I have been with asian and black women (not as often) when they have such features, but for the most part I find such features on white women.

I wish with trying this new poll out, you also put the old poll to compare. So like for example, we could see that 58% 5 star rating is equal to a poll of Yes/No/If you have time of 90% Yes.... for example. 58% 5 star is actually pretty awesome for a ranking (thats like over 85% 4 star+, obviously a good game?) but just might help people warm up to this idea.

Thats your opinion not common. I never had a white girl do anything but smile when I ask 'where da white women at?" Its called preference and flirting. I'm not that picky tho I like Yellow womez too.

Agreed. I don't know if you're trolling on purpose, but if you're not, go learn some basic Starcraft history before making such opinions. Yellow has never won a gold... in a starleague, which is the only individual tourney of importance for Korean SC1 progamers. Sort of like how MKP has never won a starleague (GSL) in SC2 while MVP has won twice.... In that case, it's simply a matter of miscommunication rather than not knowing his history. He said he has won at least "a" gold - he did not claim Yellow won a OSL or starleague. So may be you should be more careful and respectful before you attack someone. Edit: It's a Korean for Dummies kind of book... he's learning Korean. Ignorance is a sad thing. Ah really? Haha, nice ![]()
