Really good prize pool, awesome job IGN. This will definitely move into my top 4 tournaments along with GSL, dream hack and TSL. Such professionalism.

Awesome news for the tournament and everything looks great except for that FINALS Bo5?????????????????????? I see no point to NOT do a Bo7 I mean really what is the reasoning? It is obvious that the more matches 2 players play together, in general the better player has higher chance to come on out on top and giving us the true champion. I see no reason to not do a Bo7 unless IGN is just trying to be "different" then any other tournament for their own selfish reasons? Plus I don't know anyone who would disagree with my opinion in wanting to see more games ESPECIALLY for the grand finals for 15k.

Because it can be 2 Bo7's potentially leading to 14 games having to be played.

If they were good enough they would be in masters...

In TSL not all spots in the qualifier were taken, so i dont see the reason not allow all players to try and qualify. Also there are multiples qualifiers, so i see no harm in letting all players join.

Only 615 of 2048 signed up for tonight's qualifier? Bit surprised at the low number considering it's open to 3 regions. Do so few Europeans have NA acct's???

Thx cyclone25. I wonder which qualifier bracket that will be easiest on paper. I think that the last one will be easiest since all of the pros have already played their bracket. If so many players will wait until the last bracket and perhaps counteract my first statement and make it the most difficult bracket!
