Artosis and Tasteless raved about him at the start of the very first GSL and he's been mostly lacklustre ever since. I know he might have been an SC1 legend of some sort but as an SC2 new fan, he does nothing for me. I agree that I've never been impressed with Tester, but this isn't a very tough group. It's easy to see him pull out enough wins to advance.

Yeah that crossed my mind - I almost want to see him out - there's too many decent people in Code A or at least the up and downs. I think I've seen one game in all of the GSL where I went "wow this guy is awesome" (actually no, I think 2)

Don't know why you don't think Tester is code S material when he's consistently made it at least past the first round every time in code S (Round 8 in January, Round 16 in March).

I can't remember the last time I saw him play. o_O every GSL except one, where he got knocked out in qualifiers by banshee's or something edit: my bad, only was in open Season 1, and the 2 this year. Did not qualify for Open 2 and 3.

But during the beta he was just a beast. I think he destroyed any tournament he entered. The only one who could stop him sometimes was Idra. I really hope he stops chosing stupid ids, starts using Tester again and start practicing!

Like, did Terran all of a sudden start meching when Jinro beat MC with it? (I know trying to get early BCs seems to be FOTM in TvT). I know at least on the masters level of the SEA server the builds get copied immediately.
