After watching those games, XiaoT is indisputably the best Chinese player I've seen. Not too surprising, considering he sat at the top of the Chinese ladder with a 87-88% win:loss ratio for weeks. Even now he's the player with the highest win:loss ratio on the CHN server at 85.6%, which presumably means something since no one else on that server has that kind of win lose rate and the same amount of games.
If I could criticize his play, I'd say that he makes a lot of risky, baller moves but prefers to play a defensive, macro style at the same time. It's like being passive aggressive, and the danger with this is that the opponent will start playing very suspicious against you and try to counter all your tricks with mass scouting. Now, XiaoT can macro and he has great army control, but there's two things he could be doing that he's not doing - upgrading Protoss armor early (very effective vs. bio) and teching to HTs earlier.
Yes, MKP had ghosts. Yes, XiaoT sniped all the vikings in the first battle (which was really just about sniping the vikings if you noticed what he targeted). But at the end of the day, against a MMM ball you still want HTs. It makes your army so much more cost efficient and forces a lot of ghosts from the Terran.
Having said that, there are two things that XiaoT did in Game 2 that I really liked but which I don't think a lot of people noticed. First, he always sniped the Vikings and Medivacs with his Stalkers. He did not target the Marauders with them. This is a good move because Vikings and Medivacs are much more expensive and precious for Terran than Marauders are. Stalkers really do not do that much DPS against Marauders. So in a battle you should focus on the Medivacs and Vikings until you get HTs. At that point you should just Feedback the Medivacs and storm the rest.
As for the other aspects of the games, most people have already said it: he's great at tactics and knows what he's doing with his army. Every Protoss should be looking at Game 1 for how to beat a marine tank push, and at Game 2 for how to come back from a really horrible position.

Repeat that once more and you get game #2.

A ton of VOD's are missing in the OP.. is it because they are simply not available? I hoped to catch the VOD's of Todvsboxer

You can simplify any game to be as boring as that. Such a shallow statement of the games is quite indicative that you may be one or more of the following 1) blinded by your biases 2) poor analytical skills 3) Ignorant about the game 4) low cognitive functioning 5) a troll.
Nevermind. A quick look at your posts and its obvious where your opinion comes from. Hardcore fanboyism overwhelming any form of logic that you may have.
----- Xioat's amazingly, instantaneous reactions to some of those high-pressured situations were pretty damn amazing. Gotta love that immediate Warp Prism as soon as he felt he would of been contained. Often times I would see toss players just tech or pump out more offensive units and Immortals to bust out. The double expand with half the army value and still holding off a stimmed MM attack was another awesome moment as well.

XiaOT has really smooth play. Good micro, macro and decision making. He takes calculated risks too. Watching him play reminds me of Whitera.

Why is Idra already in the next round? Did Mvp forfeit?

RO16 has 9 protosses, 3 zergs, 4 terrans and RO16 has only 2 PvPs. Every quadrant has at least 2 protosses; doesn't bode well for an interesting RO4

You'll find this true with a large percentage of TL posters.

Idra and XiaoT advancing?
I didn't see this coming.

In the first post, there are some replays with casters, like NaDa, Fruitdealer, HuK, TLO... but where can i find the other matches? Boxer, ret, marineking, white-ra etc.?
Perhaps a site that can download the replays raw?
