If you are watching both the streams, there appears to be some skipping (lag) occurring, but not enough for there to be a lag window to be shown. As for the delay, pretty impossible to see from a spectator's POV. So it is at least indicative that their connection isn't perfect.

Yea i was mostly joking, im sure hes lagging, it must be something wrong with his computer though if MC is fine and they are on the same connection.

Oddly enough, this has happen between Jinro and MC in this tournament. Jinro had lag issues while playing with MC, both playing in the same area.

but they were playing on the chinese server in korea, so that sounds more plausible.

But MC did not have lag issues when Jinro asked him. Though I am curious as to where the CN servers are located. The distance from China to KR can be as close as Los Angeles to Seattle.

Yep, I said that, but that was only the peak APM. Average was around 300 for MC and 200 for XiaoT. They keep throwing up the APM tab on the chinese stream, apparently they seem to make a big deal of it.

every single pro above 200 APM spams mid-game, so anyone giving a shit about average APM shows himself to be pretty dumb imho

Yeah, failing a cannon rush, letting him getting up an expansion and get like 30 supply ahead... great decision making.

You act like it is easy. PvP is the one match up where both sides have the least information on each other. The map is quite literally dark, your only source of information is whatever unit you can sneak and having amazing game sense and knowledge. Making the right decision in PvP is one of the hardest things to do.

You list off dot points and act as if any other Protoss could have done better, its hilarious.

That's not what I was saying. I only meant that it wasn't MC's decision making that won him the game.

How you can state something like that? :/
I don't include checking everything is building something/saturation/unit positioning/scouting into spamming list ._.

Then you are being incredibly blunt. There are a lot of things that won MC that game, but saying his decision making didn't make a large part of it is being ignorant. Blink helped him win battles, but it takes a lot more than that to win the game in mid/late game PvP

no it was micro, from the initial defense, to the 4gate defense, to the 2 base defense with the FFs, and the final engagement at the watch tower it was ALL micro.

MC has said it himself, the one with better micro wins win PvP

I didn't watch the entire game but the final battles weren't about micro whatsoever, MC had a better concave, better upgrades and better army organization and that was it, period.

....... you do realize that top level players don't just 1 a and just use a few abilities right? there's a lot of target firing, blinking, and obviously positioning like you said and that IS micro; both these guys are going at 300 apm legitimate apm in those fights

there were so many times that game where MC outmicro'd lovecd REALLY hard when he had a worse army

I don't doubt that, all I said is that from the point I started watching (when lovecd got his third up) the battles weren't really won because of micro at all and how is it that guys like White-Ra win against the so called god of protoss micro if PVP is all about micro? And please don't lie to yourselves, white-ra doesn't even have enough time to train his micro up to the korean level.

sc2 has the weirdest way of creating these scenarios where X race appears op. GSL has 4 T's in the final 4, this has 4 P's in the final 4... Kind of interesting showing how chaotic the scene is right now... pretty cool.

Clearly writing 'gg' in chat doesn't mean what it used to. Obviously he won the game, it's still ridiculous that they played it out.

ive seen people type gg at the start of the game instead of gl, should they stop the game right there too?

Are you trolling? Some tournaments allow for early-game pleasantries to be exchanged between opponents, and 'gl hf gg' falls under that umbrella. But literally every well-run tournament will consider a player writing 'gg' after the first few moments of the game to be a surrender.

MC's decision making that game is what gave LoveCD the advantage, and his micro is what saved him. He was down like 30 supply, so how can you claim his decision making is what won him the game?

What it was said to be in WC3 times: It's not really about the distance but about political borders. Internet traffic which crosses Chinese borders is slow, internal Chinese Internal traffic is good. Rumors say it's because of the Great Firewall, but maybe the International traffic lines just suck.

No they weren't. They were playing on the KR server. The rules for the tournament were to play on same realm if players were in the same area, alternate servers for NA and CN/KR, NA server for EU vs CN/KR, and a spawn position random for games between CN and KR.
