True, but it's really hard to improvise successfully against a refined strategy, especially if it goes against everything you normally practice in PvZ.
To be honest, Minigun should have come prepared with some crazy stuff of his own.

heh so many protoss have tried that dt thing before because spanishiwa takes such late gas geysers but almost everytime that happens. The queens just keep transfusing until the spores/overseers are up.

Anyone else notice he dropped a changeling in the gap in the wall so that a Zealot couldn't be warped in to prevent the speedlings running in?

This is why I hate people that complain that zerg is broken and can't beat protoss.
It's a simple matter of doing something different to take advantage of the current style of protoss.
Really like this style by spanishiwa, very different from the "well, I build roaches, and then I lose to mass stalker"

I liked Spanishiwa before this but still thought he'd lose to Minigun... but dang, he's crushing Minigun. I hope he does some Nydus play for game 4.

according to darkforce and even sheth, this style of play isn't viable in high level play (as said in the strategy thread). It's hard to see what they were saying when spanishiwa is doing this well in this showmatch series. Then again, it doesn't look like minigun is playing his best? I don't know what to think

I noticed that too. Spanishiwa is great at doing the small things. I think he is going to be a very good player.

Wow... Spanishiwa is truly becoming a beast. That timing on the DT's was so good. And that run by with speedlings into the Minigun's main was just om nom nom nom...!

I think it has potential, but Minigun is playing really poorly atm

No surprises in that game. I think he needs a better way to hold that ramp, because that's just a basic Protoss pressure earlygame.
