MC made the perfect counter. It seems to me to be a build that he's tailored to kill 6pool outright given the prevalence of cheese on the Korean ladder.
I doubt it's a moment of genius, rather it's a build tailored by a year of the Korean ladder.

It goes back to what Incontrol said on the SOTG. IdrA beats himself. His play wasn't flawless in game 1, he made mistakes. Enough mistakes to lose to MC or you or any Protoss.

I think this is why Idra will always be a running joke in the community. He's really good, but he QQs so much, gives up so easily, has basically the worst attitude ever lol Had game 1 won, then gave away all his brood lords for free (ala colossi in front of army style).
Then next game instead of trying to win, he cheeses with a "I can't win otherwise" attitude. Maybe one day when Idra grows up and has any trace of a champion's attitude he'll actually start to become a legend, instead of "that one guy who cries a lot and does good every once in a while"

He should have tried though. MC is human, he can be beaten. White-Ra showed that in the team matches. I'm pretty sure if you went up against MC you'd try your best too. I think Idra should've given it his all just like in game 1. He did a great job coming back from that early game harass, if he'd pushed earlier with his army I'm pretty sure he could've taken game 1.

I am really dissapointed in Idra.. After loosing he just gets pissed off and goes for 6 pool! And I have seen this many times and it never worked, because he doesn't care about his games anymore. I can guarantee that 6 pool wasn't planned and it usually does not worked vs. toss, especially best toss in the world lol.
I mean why he does even go to such tournaments if he can't manage his play??
