Nada lost a banshee to a turret in the GSL Teamleague. People just want an excuse. The reality is that latency may have been an issue, but Jinro already clarified that in a post. The bigger reality is that Kaz was significantly better today.

I like Goody, but I don't think he has what it takes. Really looking forward to the match though. Well if you look at pretty much all the previous TSL results, having played well in the past is not really good for you ![]()

It's just in your head, what your expectations are. What was your refusal to acknowledge the very evident lag in the mvp vs Adelscott games if not pure pro-foreigner bias? I mean you were literally watching the best Terran in the world control his units like a Bronze league player and mocking anyone who suggested lag may be the reason (as opposed to the alternative, which is that he's absolutely terrible at SC2).

Anyone who follows the scene outside of GSL knows he's the best Terran and TvTer in Europe. No surprise at all. NaDa's name should have no meaning in this match. yeah this idk why they said nada vs kas would be bigest upset, upset yes but not biggest. I would say MVP/Nestea games were bigger upsets ^^.

People are supprised when they see Kas beating Nada, but if you follow the european turnaments you would have seen Goody, Sjow, Kas and Beastyqt duke it out time and time again. And among these guys even MVP and Marineking would get a run for their money. So you should not be suprised that Kas steamroled Nada 3-0, Kas is just that good. If you knew more about the European players, maybe you would not expect auto-win for the Koreans and then just maybe, we could stop the whining about lag.

I would love a situation where we could say that 'foreigners' are as good as koreans, but with the koreans playing like this it really doesn't mean all that much. I don't know what the cause of it is, but something is definately wrong on the korean side, either in terms of how much they actually care about winning or in terms of their playstyle being hampered by something. I was very much looking forward to this tournament but it's just not been living up to my expectations. This exactly sums up what I've been thinking. Most of the Korean progamers just don't seem to be doing so hot in TSL3.

How can you call Kas winning against Nada the biggest upset in the TSL... Right now, Kas is destroying every tournament he enters.

EU players didnt see to be affected by lag any slight bit. even if they had less lag than KOR players, it would have been noticeable if lag was throwing them off their game. as someone said before, the invitees dont seem to be taking this tournament quite as serious as the ones who had to try hard to qualify It's a fair point to say they should've played on the NA server, no excuse there. But I do think they MAY have though ( I certainly don't know for sure) that they would be fine if they practice diligently IN KOREA. So I think they did take this tournament seriously but didn't factor in the lag factor. Perhaps I'm mistaken but that would be thought. Oh sorry, I played on the NA server (only plat T_T) for 4 months in Korea while I was studying abroad so I have some sense of how bad it is/was.
