I might be wrong here but, maybe he shouldn't have let him get to that point. Just an idea i had kicking around. Also post-patch infestors would've helped a ton.
Too bad those games were played in 1.2.

Now its pretty weak tournament with only exception to MC who is so rude&proud (aka full of himself) in his interviews i hardly wanna watch him at all. Sad state of the game.
Moar like sad state of viewer in your case.
How can a tournament be weak when the remaining composition of players are full of giant-killers? With MC, it sounds like you're only watching his interviews, and not his games.

Nah i watch his games - he is very good player but i dont like his attitude - i hope he wont win the tournament tho i srsly doubt anyone other then Sen got chances against him.
And yes sry i forgot about Sen who is rly good as well.
To answer u question - i think its weak bcoz those giant-killers ain't rly that good in my opinion. They won best out of 2 which is quite random itself - it happens that better player fuck up something but overall he is still much better player. If those "giant-killers" were rly that good they would be considered giants as well. But if u check predictions most of games like fruitdeals, idra, mvp etc had predictions around 95+ (and thats not random voting)
Use ur brain now and think why? Maybe coz those players are considered severely better? Thats why its sad state of the game where unlike in BW its easier to cheese better players (morrow so good with baneling bust for example) or just hide ur tech due to limited scouting options in sc2.
But wtvr i dont wanna agro fanboys - just pretend that its perfectly normal that 80% of stars got knocked out and enjoy rest of games.

Pre-patch infestors would have been effective as well. Fungral growth was always useful against death balls.

In the first game his decision making was non-existent and he didn't seem to understand the ZvP matchup AT ALL. In the last game, he simply didn't scout properly and misjudged the incoming push (making drones instead of troops). Combining this with his pre-game arrogance and in-game BM, it's hard to bear. I usually respect Idra, but he seriously has to rethink his game and behavior. You must be a low level player for saying such a thing, or you just did not see the same match as me. IdrA scouted a lot in game 3, he sacked 2 overlord and had a drone in cruncher's base for a minute or so, plus 4 zerglings waiting for the protoss to make a move. LOL you're calling Drazzzt a "low level" player and your proof is the way IdrA scouted game 3? 1. The first drone scout for that super massive "1 minute" is almost completely useless. Its purpose is to see if there is any proxying. Everyone knows that a protoss will get a Stalker/Sentry out to kill that drone before exposing any build. 2. The first sacked overlord saw 2 gates. There are many build you could "guess" he is going to do but nothing definitive. 3. The second sacked overlord saw the expo and 1 gate. So he knows there is an expo and 3 gates. Once again there are lots of builds you could "guess" from this but nothing definitive. 4. The lings are to detect the first push from the protoss. And here is where IdrA failed, and failed HARD! He saw the push and builds a few Roaches but also builds 7 probes! You're gonna defend a Protoss push by wasting your larva on drones? You should look in the mirror before you start putting people down. Or increase your own knowledge of the game first. You say about problems but do not offer any solution. Basically IdrA had to guess anything since he didn't see anything. What if IdrA blindly made army and Cruncher went for Colossi/VoidRays composition, I'm pretty sure IdrA would lose that. I assume IdrA was expecting Colossi/VoidRays since it played really well in game 1 for Cruncher. Many protoss players do fake-push, walking to the middle of the map forcing zerg build army, while expanding themselves. In game 3 IdrA was thinking that it was one of those. As for game 1, please tell us what idra should've done against Cruncher's 'death ball'? I cannot find any answer for that. I didn't say i was going to offer any solution. I was simply trying to show how he was not "proving" anything with his statements. I haven't even watched game 1. I don't plan to. I can't stand watching foreigners play. I watch the GSL only. As for "blindly" making units while the Protoss gets Colossi/Voids he saw ~10 sentries. You can't go robo/stargate and make ~10 sentries. The sentries take up almost all of the gas. His push was clearly a push to kill/win. Not to fake the zerg out. Its also worth remembering that the 6 gate stalker sentry push is well known to Idra he has criticized it calling it weak and a bad strat and easily countered by a decent Zerg player. This was when commenting on Huk using it too much and that he was going to be found out. This being the case he has made it well known the best way of dealing with it.

That first game of TLO vs Nada was amazing, even though TLO lost it, I can totally see people doing that build a hell of a lot more. Getting marauders so he had a much tougher unit to defend that gold was a great touch too.
TLO STILL the most creative sc2 player on the planet.

so.... who else has had their entire TSL bracket prediction totally $&!#ed up?

I enjoyed watching TLO vs NaDa. Especially the first game with the early ghosts. Maybe TLO would have won the game if the nuke had hit NaDa's army. So I am quite sad that TLO has lost against NaDa.

A nuke hitting an army wins you almost any game. Unless it's your own. *cough* has never happened to me *cough*

+1
I normally hate watching TvT but I think I enjoyed this matchup the most from all of day 4.
What's the range on firing a nuke, anyway? isn't it somewhere around 11 or 12? Just curious because TLO was pretty snug against those tanks when he laid it down...I don't think it would have made much of a difference if he had been outside the siege line though. NaDa had plenty of stimmed marines to hunt the ghost down.

Seriously?
I thought the TLO vs Nada games, especially game 1, was something of the most retarded i ever saw.
Fast Ghost into Fast Gold into Fast Nuke whiteout a standing army? Are you serious?
Well, it endet as expected: Fast Ghost did not enough Damage, TLO got rolled.

Indeed. I seriously doubt a lot of other players transition from ghost opening into a normal marine/tank into battlecruisers. Who cares if TLO wins, as long as he's fun to watch his fans will watch him.

Is there a reason for not having recommended games polls? Or am i just blind?

Glad to see the two heroes of foreign BW (Tyler and Mondragon) and the two heroes of Korean BW (Boxer and Nada) advancing.

It would be bad from their perspective if, hypothetically, a lot of the games turned out to be bad and no one bothered watching the VODs.

Surprisingly, I can honestly say ALL TSL games up till this point are worth watching.
