But to be fair, they all had very strong opponents. And this just adds to the Tyler narrative, being the only remaining player from his team and everything. :lol

The complaining in this thread is far more disappointing then the games were, I was basically blown away by every match of the TSL so far. This tournament made me love patch 1.3. Day 4's highlights for me: The way Idra lost. Idra just didn't handle game 1 well. If you consider yourself a gosu player and you can't flex your skill enough to smash an obvious strat when he let's you build anything you want, it's just kind of funny.Game 2 was just awesome. Game 3 was well handled by Cruncher. The ZvT of Haypro/Kas was ZvT at its finest. I wish Haypro would have been faster on the transition into infestor in game 3. I'm calling it now that solid infestor play is going to become as important to all zerg match ups as good muta micro/timing. Nada v.s.TLO was a little bit disappointing in the end match, but game 2 was so beautiful, it is clear why TLO is a fan favorite. LiquidTyler Fighting!

The midgame harassment just felt so right on compared the predictable muta on 2-3 bases or a singular drop to token tick the harassment box. Seriously, Zeerax must have been shell shocked buy the mass bombardment. It's games like this that shift the 'metagame' (whatever that means) not getting hung up on a bit of BM. I completely agree, I've been playing horrible ZvP recently and Mondragon's style in my games has greatly improved my game. Soon as I see air units I just move out and kill the guy because his ground army is going to suck. You can't just play passive ZvP and expect to win even if you take the entire map. Idra had it right on his second game too, he did constant drops and harassment, it was a very epic game, if only he did that for game one he would have won the thing and not had to deal with the 6 gate rush.

Yeah, it's unfortunate, but it's not any player's fault - you could just as easily pin the blame on incontrol for saying zerg is a more difficult race mechanically on state of the game, but that wouldn't be fair either. (Note I'm not saying zerg is underpowered, nor am I saying that zerg is not underpowered. Simply that, as has been said by many top level players, zerg is more difficult in a mechanical and decision-making sense) Not all zerg players have that mentality at all. And how do you really tell if zerg is really that underpowered or harder to play? Because of the words of a couple of pros giving their opinions? What about others who say that it isn't quite the case like Day9? Just wondering.
