Fuck idrA's stupid BM personality. I used to think it was amusing and a 'heel' was a good addition to esports, but if it makes his fans unable to accept that sometimes when Z loses its NOT because of imbalance then its unacceptable to me.
On a lighter note, whats funny about IdrA's career is as he starts to lose faster and faster in tournaments, his fans become more and more convinced hes always the better player and loses because of imbalance. You can't really pin the stupid people you're talking about who happen to be fans of IdrA as being IdrA's fault, they were fans anywhere else they'd be just as stupid. Also, what do you mean his personality is "unacceptable" to you? What say do you have in it? I have no say in it. But as I wrote in my post, I used to think it was fun and harmless, now i don't. It's trite and detracts from the community as a whole by giving zerg players an us vs them mentality.
Zerg players tend have an us vs. them mentality simply because our race is harder to play, not because of any one player. Yeah, it's unfortunate, but it's not any player's fault - you could just as easily pin the blame on incontrol for saying zerg is a more difficult race mechanically on state of the game, but that wouldn't be fair either.
(Note I'm not saying zerg is underpowered, nor am I saying that zerg is not underpowered. Simply that, as has been said by many top level players, zerg is more difficult in a mechanical and decision-making sense)

There are many build you could "guess" he is going to do but nothing definitive. 3. The second sacked overlord saw the expo and 1 gate. So he knows there is an expo and 3 gates. Once again there are lots of builds you could "guess" from this but nothing definitive. 4. The lings are to detect the first push from the protoss. And here is where IdrA failed, and failed HARD! I was simply trying to show how he was not "proving" anything with his statements. I haven't even watched game 1. I don't plan to. I can't stand watching foreigners play. I watch the GSL only. As for "blindly" making units while the Protoss gets Colossi/Voids he saw ~10 sentries. You can't go robo/stargate and make ~10 sentries. The sentries take up almost all of the gas. His push was clearly a push to kill/win. Not to fake the zerg out.
I'm kind of getting tired of this 7 drones argument...even if he had 7 more roaches he still would've lost that. That many sentries at that point in the game is basically the toss's game to lose.

idra played flawlessly in game 2
he needed to be more agressive game 1 with the useless roaches and try to fake out some forcefields in game 3, go back and pull off the drones till he got enuf roaches to engage. what he did was autoattack get trapped in forcefields and continues to reinforce with roaches and they got picked off few by few.
i dont want to make it sound easy, but thats what it takes to beat a top protoss. force fields can be forced and sometimes used to the opponents advantage (delay the attack of the toss).

I agree with you and your point makes sense, but in the SC community it's common, majority-accepted knowledge that saying GG is proper manners. :/

GG is like the line-up at the end of any team sport where the two teams shake hands, or the glove tap between the two opponents in any type of combat sport. It's purely out of respect for the opponent and courtesy. Anyone who says that it's ok not to GG just because they didn't like that they lost is just being an asshole.

Ya I was just about to say this. Not saying GG on the ladder is fine... and I would agree with n00bspanker on what he said in that circumstance, but when it is a tournament, you simply say GG out of respect just like you shake hands at the end of a sport.
Either way, IdrA definitely rage quitted from that game, whether or not the lack of gg alone was enough to say that (which it was).

I don't see difference. Someone spent time to play game w/ you least one can do is microsecond GG, Wish you could rate trolls like IdrA on bnet as they would not get games being black listed for BM.
edit just to clarify -by all accounts IdrA is a nice guy IRL but BM when hiding behind web-by definition a troll.

Yeah its just so SAD when these "top players" all make mistakes and lose games. You act as if it was a dice roll or something. All these top players got outplayed and made clear mistakes that could've been pointed out in every game that they lost, and their opponents did not make these mistakes. I don't see why it is sad that top players aren't unbeatable and incapable of making mistakes. Wait a second... I don't know any sport where top players are unbeatable and never make mistakes... I personally think upsets are exciting and we are getting to see some fresh new faces playing well and winning games with superior decision making. Seems great for the game to me!!

The Idra/Chuncher games were pretty boring standard play types that add nothing to futhering race dynamics.
Now the Mondragon/Zeerax game really seemed to be the eye opener for me. I gotta love the old pro coming back onto the scene with such a refreshing Zerg style. The midgame harassment just felt so right on compared the predictable muta on 2-3 bases or a singular drop to token tick the harassment box. Seriously, Zeerax must have been shell shocked buy the mass bombardment. It's games like this that shift the 'metagame' (whatever that means) not getting hung up on a bit of BM.
