Players such as Jinro, HuK, and Adelscott did not apply for this tour, so don't ask why they aren't on this list. DIMAGA, Kas, and LaLush turned applications in late so they will not appear either. Please take some time to learn who exactly applied. Please inform yourself about who applied and who didn't. |

As i said im sick of how i get threated .. i can take visa like NO PROBLEM , u didnt even bother to ask me or tell me about the visa , u only told me about the visa after i asked if im invited .. thats just pathetic and desgusting , when i have apply for the NASL u could have told me about the visa and by now i would already have had apply for it and take it . Romania is part of the european nations and so i would have not even 1 problem in taking the visa . Very profesional tho very... and the answer is even more profesional .. kind agree with NightEnD...how can you assume and decide something without even discussing with the actual player, NASL is very unprofessional in my eyes. If you look up, Xeris has a post that implies they did communicate. And imo, this makes them more professional, not less, if that's really what you want. If you apply to a job and you can't provide something the job requires or show up late, it'd be more professional for them to reject you. There's no way you show up for a professional job like that, and if you want gaming to be a professional job, well... In any case, I'm glad to see that most people have stopped whining. There were like 10% of players that most people were whining about, which means ~1% of games have players that they don't like. Quite irritating...

As an avid SC2 viewer from the UK I am extremely disappointed in how DeMuslim has been treated. He is the one shining hope from our shores and it is a travesty that he has not been included in this competition, when his record absolutely demands it. As has previously been highlighted, it is quite shocking that the judgement seems to have been made purely on his YouTube video rather than actually asking the player in question.
It is a shame that the selection process has already tainted what should be a great tournament.

I also believe that my being out of action for 2 months, compared to the results i made before hand to be abit odd, when it came to TL ranking and prize money earnt i held a pretty high position. I'm pretty sure with those 2 months MIA i still hold a pretty recognisable resume compared to a few others on the list. I shipped to the UK to rest, to rest up for NASL and received further physio (it's not necessary although it's a step i'm taking to hasten the healing process). As i've stated i've been ready to play, i just wish i was asked instead of my application video being taken too literally, i'm sad that effort kinda ended up biting me in the ass. Hope the tournament runs smoothly anyhow. anyways, they could have contacted you and find out whats going on before making the decision... i cant believe how can they pick players according on a 5 minute video. It was an application... like going for a job.
DeMusliM went in his video with the cast on. This made him LOOK not read to play. He never once said "this cast is here to hide my scar" or "this cast is here to keep me in 100% tip top shape before the NASL".
It would be akin to going into an interview to be a typist with all your fingers broken and then just talking normally, not taking the second to say that your fingers will be 100% better before the start of the job.
Or going int a job to be an investment banker in a t-shirt and shorts.
DeMusliM could of even taken off the cast and played up how much chicks dig scars.
Instead, he was infront of a hospital with a cast on... what kind of message does that send?

Just a suggestion. For next season of the NASL, it would be wise to seed the top players of this season, then hold an open qualifier tourney. This system is a lot more fair in my opinion. I think a pure invite system is not going to work from this point moving forward.

All of you guys who didn't get picked, don't worry. Artosis will do you proud.

Looks like there are alot of fun matches to look forward to.
I don't really understand the hate in this thread
Good luck NASL! May the best man win, and lets hope for some exciting matches ^^

It does seem weird that they are very concerned about DeMuslim's shape and health but did not clarify with him.
In which case , to be fair, they probably had to clarify with all 50 players that all of them have been well and practicing. Sure it was public knowledge that DeMuslim had broken hand but there was no way they can be sure of his progress / training regime without talking to him.
I think an approach like what TSL did towards Mondragon would be better. They was not sure whether Mondragon was practicing / will be in shape for TSL and Mondragon assured them that he will give his humble best.
TSL believed him and took him as a 2nd seed.

My condolences to the players that weren't selected (and their fans) but the league still looks great! So many wonderful players, cannot wait to watch the games! And it's even better for the fact that the open tournament and future qualification rounds will allow other people to compete as well.

That's exactly what we're doing :p

apparently UK is #4 on TL, if tons of so-so players were brought in as crowd-drawers, how can you leave out demuslim? singlehandedly possibly the biggest subscriber magnet of any player, since hes uk's ONLY player, where as other people with large fan bases share their fans with a ton of other people etc, and like i said he could still outplay a ton of people like Artosis even if he was in bad shape, which apparently he isnt

would really like xeris's reasoning on why he chose some of these players to be posted. especially over Minigun, Fruitdealer, most of oGS including Supernova, their best Terran player but Ensnare being in, Inca (their 2nd best protoss) and players like Bomber..
but cant get everything, lets just say ill avoid the Incontrol/MoMan match and the Vibe matches cause really i know nothing about any of these players as players. incontrol i know from his personality on SoTG which i love but as a player, no..
artosis i am fine with cause i was always a Media fan in brood war. but so far im fine with 90-93 percent of the players in the league and i guess looking over the list again, it seems fine. cant get everything but would have perhaps preferred maybe 5 more koreans, especially i want to know the reason of why Ensnare was chosen over a GSL winner..
xeris any reason of why fruitdealer wasn't in this?
isn that the biggest accomplishment a player can get.. 1st place in GSL

It seems like they really didn't contact you or made any effort to see exactly what your situation was which is strange given that incontrol is your teammate. It would've been awesome to see a UK rep in the tournament but I guess the decision has been made however questionable their process was (in actively following up valid applications and not making assumptions).

i dont see why everyone must voice their complaints so much. Tough if someone didnt get picked, but its not like NASL can change it now.
Minigun/DeMuslim, sucks it didnt work out for you guys but i have no doubt that you guys can make it in.
Nightend- complaining and making NASL look bad here wont help you. They can not change their choices, so you wil lget nothing by complaining. Either PM argue with xeris or man up like the minigun and demuslim and accept it, and practice hard for the tournies.

Pretty solid lineup. Good luck to all players! ^^

I can only say that the answer is rly good and after i saw grubby is invited as P i checked here ( http://www.dragon-league.com/en/matches/ranking ) and i can totaly agree with the decision and in general the invites are superb GG very pro . ps im getting sick of how i always get treated
The way NASL handled it was quite bad, I feel bad for you but you shouldn't disrespect Grubby. They said they've taken popularity to account when making the decisions and guess what, Grubby is one popular guy.
Feel a bit bad for Demuslim aswell, especially how they blame it on the video. Oh well, hopefully we'll see more of Demuslim in other tournaments, I've missed him.

should have hidden that cast demuslim and recorded the video in a black room, lets invite moman instead ( who the fuck is that?).
sense makes.

after watching LzGamer stream for the last 3 hours... wtf happened?
lol... he's better than at least half of the US players in the tournament, and he wasn't even important enough to mention in the "why players weren't invited" section.
i guess i'll be cheering for white ra.

Very nice final day. I'm not one of the people demanding that Koreans be in the tournament, but those 5 were all very expected and are solid players.
I can't wait to see all the complaints!! ... :-/
