You're right, everyone. When Jinro 14 cc'd, MorroW should have sat back and done nothing. That was clearly the correct counter, instead of using aggression to push back against Jinro's econ-heavy openings. If your opponent is better than you, as is the case of Jinro being better than MorroW, you have to do something that makes your opponent step outside his comfort zone. You have to make him step sideways and adapt to you, instead of letting him set up his gameplan and roll over you. If you wanted to win a game against a superior opponent, you would have done the same thing. It's strategy 101.

take a quick third and more drones instead of making 50 lings and banelings? Thats what he should have done instead of playing like a all in newb

Don't worry zerg's fast siege tech is on the way to spoil your baneling busts.

Congratulations to all the winners of the TSL3 Ro32 Day 2. I enjoyed the games very much.
Curious that we spend more time congratulating people who have succeeded than encouraging people who have not. 파이팅! ᕦ(ò_óˇ)ᕤ"

This is the beauty of a knock out tournament (like the FA Cup, for example), sometimes the underdog will win. Despite this, all of the top foreigners are very close in skill, and today Morrow and HasuObs played extremely well to take out Jinro and HuK.

I think Jinro's build is actually extremely risky given that its follow up was Hellions, perhaps if it was fast CC into siege tank it might actually be possible to hold a baneling bust, but otherwise I don't think that build is workable. It was good adaptation by MorroW, whilst Jinro showed that he can still be a beast in game 2.

Baneling busts are not pretty, but it's what he had to do to win. He made the right decision upon scounting the FE. If he had not busted it would have been the wrong decision. I understand that Jinro is popular here, but all this hate towards MorroW is a bit sad tbh.

baneling busts are so unfun, especially when there's not actually anything you can do to stop them

game 2 proved that Jinro's a much better player than Morrow, so I guess Morrow just needs to play abusive and lame to win. I'm boycotting the rest of morrow's games, not that anybody cares, of course.

It is funny that according to your very own logic game 2 did exactly not prove that Jinro is a better player

Everyone talking about how a seige tank would have stopped the bust

Im 99.9% sure that morrow only decided to bust AFTER seeing the CC first.\

People are like "Hey, we want to see a entertaining macro game!" And MorroW is like "No, I want to win 38k" BANG! Banelingbust Jinro to the end of the earth. If it works, it works. Don't see why people should complain when this is a tournament with a lot of money on stake. MorroW knows that Jinro is fearful in mid and late game, game 2 showed that. So why play to your opponents favor?

Why are people pissed over the baneling busts? Morrow analyzed jinro's play and found out how to beat it, plain and simple. He did exactly what he should have done.

And people talking about morrow lacking in macro is just, meh... Hasn't he proven that his macro is very good by now? Over and over again?

It's sad that jinro gets eliminated but morrow deserves to advance.

Not only did the most fun player to watch drop out early, but got dropped out by a ZvT strat that plagued the GSL and made it pretty crap -.-

Think us terrans really need to wall off better though, making sure those blings aren't hitting the 2nd tier of the wall(like the engi bay was almost dead from the stuff hitting the front).

94% Jinro win chance my ass. MorroW is clearly being underestimated here.

I thought the MU was pretty even, but i voted Jinro

Btw: The tactics from Morrow weren't more all-in than a 4 SCV + Marauder Rush versus Protoss to prevent an 1 Gate FE.
Morrow stopped Drone production at 35 Drones, Jinro had at this time ca. 27 SCVs. You can be sure that you can do at least a little bit of damage and then forcing the Terran to play more defensive, while you can drone up more after the bust (what Morrow even did ... in the last game he never was behind in workers).
But we all know that only Idra's style (dieing to all kinds of cheeses) is not all-in.

after winning with baneling busts in G1 and G3, it was apparent in G3 that Morrow knows that baneling busts can beat CC first builds while Jinro did not

people really should not be complaining about what Morrow did. his baneling busts were in response to what Jinro was doing.
