Kas basically beasted through with macro, and Nada is known for his macro. Kas has really amazing macro. Nah, NaDa supply blocked himself multiple times in every single game in that series, his play was very far from his optimal. Not to mention the conditions for NaDa aren't optimal. Mistakes like supply blocking yourself are common when you are playing at 3:00 am. Kas' macro is great, probably on par with Jinro, but this series is more about how poor Grubby's macro is.

I don't really see how it can be better to see a bioball rolls over a toss, than MC placing any forfefield in perfect position and rolls over morrow. I agree. You don't really need to place stim. MC plays a more varied unit composition. Kas doesn't even need to stim kite. He just stimmed and won. MC always FF and then move back his collossus.

Kas basically beasted through with macro, and Nada is known for his macro. Kas has really amazing macro. Definitely the best macro Terran in Europe. Him vs MC will give alot more insight into how good Kas has actually become. I think he might give MC a run for his money...although not sure Kas can handle the insane MC pressure I don't think so--Kas isn't ready for MC, although he has solid mechanics, so does IdrA or Jinro and they both lost to MC. I'd give it 30%. I think Kas is a much better player than Jinro and Idra -- Naniwa considers him the best player in Europe by far -- but that's just me I guess.. Both Naniwa and Kas are similar--young, sort of newcomers to being showcased in tournaments, but Idra and Jinro are aged vets who have played/play in Korea--you can't beat that kind of experience. Idra also has better macro than Kas.

I was thinking that too. Kas was a head on SCV's AND was teching, even with the 20kills whilst grubby was starting his expo + no tech. Then when you factor in mules, Grubby wasn't a head, he just barely pulled himself back into the game.

Which is a HUGE advantage for the terran. To be ahead after a 4 gate you need to get terran down to 15-20 SCV The amazing part is that he had that SCV advantage AFTER losing like 19 SCVs to the 4 gate. He had his 2nd CC really early, and from what i know you stop building probes pretty early when playing 4gate.

THIS I don't see any advantage really.. Kas plays pretty solid, risk-averse, standard game. MC can still cheese his way through the series thanks to maps and stuff, but he will have to win a macro game against Kas... and I really don't see that happening, unless Kas gets nervous.

Kas does have really good macro, but let's not compare it to that and a WC3 player who clearly needs to work on his macro.. Kas was a WC3 player. Don't let the people who think ex-wc3 pros are doomed to fail know that ![]() Also, Kas has played at least 1k-2k games more than Grubby, Kas has been laddering like a beast the moment the game came out, Grubby has been practicing only for a few months. Still, Kas vs MC promises to be an exciting final ![]()

It's that, plus Kas just had an extra base and Grubby didn't notice. Don't get me wrong, Kas is one of the best there is, but that game wasn't a product of Kas being amazing. In fact, he was quite sloppy while defending the 4gate and throwing away medivacs. Grubby just didn't keep up, so Kas looked overwhelming. It's like GSL2 when Terran would stay on 2 base while Zergs took the map. Of course the Zerg looked great when they rolled, but it was a product of Terran failure rather than Zerg outplaying them.
