Definitely the best macro Terran in Europe. Him vs MC will give alot more insight into how good Kas has actually become. I think he might give MC a run for his money...although not sure Kas can handle the insane MC pressure

Damn, MC vs Kas will give TSL a run for its money!

probes n pylons, Grubby!!!! >:O
|
Grubby should have started his nexus way earlier and back to probes, get robot bay faster than that. Just bad macro...
|
gg Kas, but those 2 dropshipcrews will await you in hell xD

Nah, NaDa supply blocked himself multiple times in every single game in that series, his play was very far from his optimal.

Part of the food disparity has to do with unit composition. Kas had a much heavier focus on tier 1 barracks units while Grubby was more focused on tech. This means that even if their macro is identical Kas will have a higher food count.
|
Grubby's macro isn't normally bad, he just majorly slipped on building propes, Grubby will learn and move on.
|
Why Grubby didn't end this game with his first push when he killed 20 SCVs? Can someone tell me?

I didn't say Kas was bad, but Grubby should not be 110 supply when Kas hits 170, even zerg shouldn't be THAT far ahead in supply.

I remember an interview with Kas where he said his macro was kind of bad because he didn't play brood war. It looks insane right now, in all games i've seen him recently

im saying this as a protoss.
amazing spread of the units by kas.
he failed a little at the beginning, but i think this was his nervousity.

Grubby played fine, i don't think his macro was lacking. His 4gate didn't do enough damage and thus he was behind macrowise. Yes he killed a lot of SCV, but Kas had his expansion running already and was always ahead after that point.
|
Will there be a 3rd/4th place decision match after this (for Morrow and probably Grubby?)
|
Grubby needs a short break. Grubby rushes to MC. ???? Grubby comes back 3-2.
Would be hilarious :D
|
During the first attack where grubby bypassed the bunker by killing the rocks.. kas build a supply depot at the natural of grubby; i think that move might have won him the game
|
My guess is that MC will punish Kas for his macro opening. Grubby could've done a lot more damage than he did with his run in. MC is usually a lot better at these sorts of early pressure.

I don't think so--Kas isn't ready for MC, although he has solid mechanics, so does IdrA or Jinro and they both lost to MC. I'd give it 30%.

I can't believe kas is not in the nasl ><
