Any single balance remark or non game related argument after page 77 gets an insta 2 week ban. It's mindboggling that I still have to state the obvious.

July as to play abit better than what he has done against Mc though. I remember the God of war playing against Protoss at the GSTL, so im not too worry. Regardless of what happen, July is a boss. He chosed to be int he group of death, got out of it, by beating the best player in the world. Played a great serie against Clide, played the best serie of the tournament against NaDa. He`s a winner and he has the mentality to go trough the whole thing. JulyZerg Hwaiting!!!

It would practically be an automatic win for MC. I got to admit that JulyZerg vs Mc as a final card would be amazing. July as to play abit better than what he has done against Mc though. He prefers to not attack while taking more and more bases. Also I have never seen him cheese. He seems to be the idra of protoss except his macro is not that beastly (floating 2k minerals and not building more gateways in G3). So my guess is that he'll probably go for the safest builds vs MC like defensive 4WG or 3 stalker build etc while MC will try to be very aggressive as always. We should see slightly longer games than MC vs hongun. Should make for an interesting series.

I feel that if Mc gets defeated by miracle, July (if he get past Anypro, and i feel that he will) will crush San. Nestea made the mistake to let San macro up. Coca`s built against Ace during match 2 was superb and i think that zergs should have take notice of it abit more. Also, The Losira style is also very good against a player like San and i dont think he could beat that. I also saw a Zerg defeat Huk on the Kr ladder with Mutas and lings. It takes alot of multi tasking but July can make it work. Though, against an agressive Protoss like Mc, July`s style is weaker, and i hope he got a plan B. It`s nice for him though that he got two of the best protoss in the world to train with (Squirtle and Ace).

You call San is a weak player, then how the hell did he keep winning in a long ass straight up macro game against anyone, not including never use Colossus or 4 gates. Give him some credits man, he deserved it. No one can macro, micro, and harass like him as protoss, even MC. It's San, obviously. Winning a "long ass straight up macro game" against sCfOu playing as he did isn't saying much at all. The guy would just stick to 2-3 bases, refuse to build more CC's, and send waves of Marauders to the front line, barely harassing with drops at all. San's refusal to use anything but warpgate units is part of the problem. The reason he does it is laziness, with pure warpgate it's much easier to macro / harass (no thought in army placement required, just warp units where they're needed). It's seriously mind-boggling to me how people can compliment this pure warpgate play, pointing out how, "Hey, he doesn't use other units, he's so awesome!" As if we should also be impressed when Terran like sCfOu occasionally win by making nothing but marauders? The guy isn't even close to MC's level.

While i liked San's Ht usage, he didn't react well when he was in a lead. He could have easily transitioned in to a couple Colossi. With the Ht support its not like he would have needed all that many. 2-3 in his army, would have crushed the composition from SC. Sc didn't seem that good either, he just didn't try anything. Just a Terran relying on the power of MMM all game long. Surprisingly not doing anything tactical with his army. He also ate so many storms.

Also, did anypro just show that the marauder expand is too greedy to pull off vs a choya style 4-gate/

A lot of storms and warping stalkers and stuff to outrange planetaries.

Warpgate play is exciting, effective, and much harder to pull off than a colossus ball. Him sticking to it isn't laziness, it is brilliance. Most people switch to a colossus ball at some point, but aside from game 1, he felt confident with his templar play all the way through. Not even sure why I'm arguing with someone who thinks that warping in units requires less thought in army placement than having some come out of a robo... He had a DT + HT + 2 Zealots and a Stalker by most of his expansions, which helped him become drop proof and delayed most pushes. He also had the exact amount of units by Sc's expansions to harass with storm and outranged stalker while still can defend a small marauder force, forcing him to bring back his whole army. Give some credit where credit is due. If you can't give him credit, then you can't give anyone else who plays this game any credit.

One thing I've really noticed about SC2 though, is that if you don't win a battle DECISIVELY, it can be very difficult to come back. If a marauder clump gets stormed to near death but doesn't die, then zealots can have a hell of a time catching them and putting 'em away since bio balls kite so well and get heals from medivacs. On the other hand, one extra storm could kill an entire ball and save a lot of zealots/stalkers. Maybe that's partially why that series was so close though! Either way, definitely very entertaining. Also I loved San's decision to just take a different main in the game on Metalopolis. Very wise choice. TvP has been a lot of fun to watch lately. In fact, protoss in general has gotten A LOT more exciting since the colossus death ball builds seem to be going out of fashion. Hopefully if the amulet gets removed the metagame doesn't shift back to colossus death balls every game.

I don't actually mind if any race is dominating, just annoys me that we have two relatively weak players in the RO4, and both of them happen to be Protoss. (Well, I don't know if July is the greatest either, but he's gotten here with his own crazy unique style, which is always nice to see) QFT. I love that Protoss is doing well, but AnyPro and San aren't exactly the ones I'd like representing... July has gotten alot better, and he's very unique In the meantime, to make this final actually fun to watch and scary for me, July, you must crush Anypro!!! (I'm not too scared about MC because, as we (and Jinro) know, he doesn't lose PvP, but FIGHTING!!!) Also... Is anyone else interested in the fact that everytime MC has gotten to at least the ro4, Hongun has made it to the ro8? Also, July is one of his enemies both times.

All Terran need is 3 bases, then put pressure on Protoss to prevent them out-macro Terran. And it's not just warpgates, it include HTs and DTs harass. Obviously what else can San go? pls tell me? Colossus so vikings own them easily, or Carriers with the same answer to vikings. You sir, definitely don't know how to play the game. User was warned for this post
